update from me, I have not found anything as of yet, I will get in contact with some of my friends maybe they can find something. And I have not heard back from accustats... Have you tried CJ wiley, I feel if he doesnt have it he will be able to get his hands on it.

Maybe you can drop a note to Mitch Lawrence at ESPN since he has done
Pool broadcasting on the network or maybe someone on the forum knows how to contact him. My guess is he would have access to their Billiard library etc.

I guess im the only one who has a copy of it. I have the entire set from 1991 when mike LeBron won the first til now. I was going to ask $1000 !. its my property and I can ask what ever I want. he was asking $300 for a copy, who wouldn't jump on that? all you so called do gooders !! the only disrespect showing I see is the big mouths acting like they wouldn't sell their copy for $300 bucks !! You don't have shit. The footage he is asking for was likely never broadcast as it was not part of the pro event, it was filmed and the clips that were shown in between matches was likely the only footage to ever make it to TV. What he wants it the un-broadcast footage and I can pretty much guarantee you don't have that. There are lots of people on AZB that have the actual broadcast footage.
If you think you actually have additional footage of the match his dad played then post two screenshots of his dad in the match that are not part of the already available clip that was flashed between the pro match.
And please don't try and state "oh gee, I don't know how to take screenshots or photos of my TV with the match paused and then load the SD card into my computer and put the image on my hard drive and load it onto AZB, derp!!!" We all know that is simply a admission that you are simply full of shit and don't have the footage.
Prove you have the footage, I will throw $50 into a collection to get this guy his video.

To Macnielb: A long time ago, I was a producer/director of an Educational Television facility in NC. We archived all raw footage, and we often bought archived footage from CBS/NBC, etc for use in other productions. I am sure ESPN does the same. If you approach them and get to their archives department, the footage might be there.

I emailed them twice and called the ESPN 1 800 number twice, unfortunately they both told me the same thing. They don't release or sell copies of their programs . Here is the email I sent, as well as their reply:

Sounds like a typical "form letter" type response. I am sure that they don't "sell" copies of their programming to just any individual, but they do sell them for certain things...we paid fees for the use of any programming re-used in one of our programs (and we also had to give credit to the owner of the material, ie, a by-line "courtesy of NBC, CBS, etc. dubbed onto the footage).
I feel that someone at ESPN would help you, if you could make contact with the correct person. I doubt that would be anyone at their standard email address or one of their 800 numbers. Find out who their director of public relations is, or even their CEO. Write a letter to them asking for their help. If the footage exists, there is a way to get it.
In actuality, the actual rights of the programming may belong to Accustats or a similar entity. You may find member contact with someone who has contact info with some of these folks. Try contacting Jay Helfert and CJ Wiley on here...they may know someone.
