If you are buying it as a collector I can think of two lines of thought:
1) Buy what you don't have (true collector)
2) Buy the one that's got the best resale value ( flipper)

Imo wrapless in every aspect of playing, resale, collectibility, coolness...etc

Im with Stakehorse on this one. I went through a brief phase with wraps but to me a really sweet cue has some sweet wood handle.

Think about the question guys. It isn't what you like. It is over time, what will be rewarded. If there are more wrapped cues, linen or leather than wrap less , it stands to reason wrapped. Hold it you say, fewer wrap less should make it more rare and desirable? There are enough made to make the difference negelible.
The answer is, like with art, buy what you like and enjoy. It it appreciates, great . Do not speculate.

Makes me drool just thinking about it. I now like wrap-less cues myself but this is the way I'd go!
IMO, if #2 is your motive, buy gold or silver, and forget cues as investment items. I'd buy what you enjoy the most.
Cues are lousy investments unless you buy Bushka, Szamboti, and a few others. Even at that most cannot be considered an investment.
You are better waiting for the stock market to make a "correction" and then moving it there.
Cues are a lot like cars IMO, lousy investments. The late "60's-70's" muscle cars are the same because if you bought them at the time (Bushka, Szam) and held them, you have done well. You cant buy ANY cue or car made today, that will perform financially like those opportunities.
Muscle cars bought a few years ago, are worth less now too, as the market was over priced. Cues are worth less now too, even the collectables.
Tascarella cues IMO, will never be collectable, he has made tons. Southwests are even more of a production cue as they make so many.
IMO, the folks that collect Meuccis, and other production cues are nutz, but if that is what you like, welcome to the Franklin Mint they make collectables all the time.

"He" has not made "tons" AND they ARE collectible because of their craftsmanship... Top tier in EVERY respect. MAYBE only a handful of makers in that class...
Get one with a smooth leather wrap... Pete is among the best in the world at smooth leather....
