375$ maximum for a new cue help me choose one

I have 375$ dollars to buy a new cue. I currently have a vintage cue, which I've had for 2 years (200$ cue)(No complaints about it.)

Since I'm no expert in cues. (Yes I got robbed with my first cue which is overpriced.)

I need help from you guys.

I was looking at the Lucasi LE-86 cue, I like the design, but that's all.

Sorry about my English I'm not from the USA. (I'm on an international scholarship.)

Check out Chuck Starkey's cues. That is the latest addition to my collection, and at $350 it's a bargain. Almost all the custom cuemakers are starting around $500 or more these days.

i would look at a rat cue! ryan posts on the forum under ratcues. he builds some great hitting stuff for 350!:D

I have found a lucasi cue on ebay with a lot of extra stuff for the same price as the production price

Nielsen is a great seller, you won't regret buying from him. I personally would go with a McDermott but that's more personal than anything else.
Have a look at the Dominiak website too, those cues play lights out!

I agree with Double-Dave. Nielsen's is a great reseller.

You may want to consider what you're truly looking for. From a "cue only" standpoint, the custom cues mentioned by the posters above are probably your best bet for quality and resale value. If you need all the other stuff that comes with the purchase at Nielsen's, then you're getting a pretty good deal there.

Predator Sneaky pete with a 314-2 shaft, can't get any better for the price. Don't forget the sniper tip :D

this would be one of my choices for a couple of reasons.1.they do play well.2.if you don't like it selling it wouldn't be too tough.also look at some mcdermotts and even some older schon cues.sometimes if you look hard enough you can find someone selling a good playing/looking schon for around 350.

Exactly what I was going to say. You can get into some custom makers sneakies for that too. Diviney,Esperito,& BCM come to mind.

Even with all the issues with Dale Perry , I wouldnt hesitate to try one of his. THey hit great regardless. Has anyone also tried the Jarvis cues?

In that price range, for a "production cue," I'd go with a JOSS cue from Billiardwarehouse.com.

will be one of the best looking cues in your pool hall.as far as their hit you are gambling.i've never seen two play the same,imo.look on ebay if anyone wants one.you can buy a 1800 dollar cue for 300 bucks.
