I totally concur, not that my opinion matters much. All my life I used a cube shape and so I was delighted when TAOM & Alex Pagulayan arranged an endorsement for a cube version of TAOM chalk under his name. It solved my complaints about TAOM’s original oval shape pool chalk. Pagulayan chalk plays identically as V10 and should since it is made by TAOM. If a cube shape pool chalk is what you prefer versus oval, you can purchase Pagulayan chalk instead. The root reason I started this path a year or more ago now, is the Taom chalk was too uncomfortable for me to hold. It was too small, and a poor shape to get a good grip on it. Regular chalk has been square for 100 years, probably for these same reasons. I would have probably gotten used to it given enough time.... A larger square shape just fits in my hand a lot better.
