4 Stolen Cues , Tacoma Area

I feel it's neiborhood kids, that don't even know what they have . I posted all the mail boxs in the area. Asked for help , No Questions Asked. Maybe one of the parents will realize , the kid didn't have that nice cue last week. The cops were lots of help, they made the report. Expidition is a nice vehical to drive around and fill out reports. Thanks Everyone... Jim

REMEMBER MOST CROOKS ARENT THAT BRIGHT AND THEY WILL FIGURE THEY WILL GET EASY MONEY OR YOU MIGHT TALK TO A LOCAL THAT KNOWS OF HEARIN OR SEEIN A GUY SHOW UP WITH YOUR CUES!!!!:wink:

Jim I wish there was anything I could do,but I'm sure you know. The police as soon as they hear pool they could care less. I think and just my opinion,you put the word out of a reward no questions asked and you could have a chance someone could get in touch with you.You need anything let me know.

Jim...if you are gonna take out an ad, I would recommend craigslist also...some of these kids practically live on that site! I realize it says no cross-posting between regions/areas...but I have done it to no ill effect...cannot hurt, that's for sure!

Got the pics and will keep an eye out...plus forward pics to some local shooters that have just about every local shoot in these parts covered. If they're circulating out there, we'll find them.

I would also contact all the poolhalls in the greater Puget Sound area...might be a likely place they would head to for a quickie sale.

you are correct. property stolen from a vehicle, if not actually part of the vehicle, falls under homeowners or renters insurance on contents. Jim contact me if I can help or look over your policy or anything along those lines, that's constructive.

The green and white wrap is worn and a dark green line about 3 " long in wrap. Points have a very pretty blue veneer. Butt plate has some small dents. I just aquired this cue about a month ago and have no pictures. #2 is a custom Bocote into maple full splice, with 2 hoppy rings about 3" apart surrounded by black and brass rings. Picture in my cue gallery in my signature. # 3 & 4 are almost identical custom full splice rosewood into maple, with 4 veneers. Both have hoppy rings . One has a normal black joint , the other has a 1/2 black joint . One has a special white break tip, the other has a layerd tip. All this was in a black 4x8 soft case. This is the only time I have ever left them in the car over night. All cues were assembled by me except the Schon. Thanks Jim

That's AWFUL!!!!! You might want to check Ebay.com. If they're kids they might try to sell them on there. You also might want to post on myspace.com. It's a popular site with the young crowd. I hope one of my suggestions help!!

Heck you can even try craigs list for free. I will also keep an eye out.
 
I gave Jim rep for this thread which may seem strange, but I'll tell you why I did it.
The guy is putting up with all this crap with his cues being stolen, and still did a hell of a job on a set of JP's for me. As advertised, as agreed, and on time.
