You didn't have to wait Lisa, Travis Niklich of Blackcreek cues and Andy Gilbert have been doing full splice cues with paper veneers for several years.

Nice looking wood and veneer combination Scott.
 
its good to see Scott making such nice cues,you name it he makes it. i am looking forward to a fancy gambler that will start some comparisons

Not sure.
I like papers separating the veneers when the colors are similar. I'm surprised we don't see more full splice with papers. If you have one and time to take pics please share them.

I have to give credit to Cyrex. I was getting ready to glue my veneers together and he mentioned it would be kewl to add some papers. It wasn't any extra work so why not. I'm very glad I did.
I like it so much I'm adding a wrap and inlays.
