$5,000. predator cue

Why is it that only 10 are made, but Seybert's has 9 different weights available? Did Seybert's buy 9 of the 10 from Pred? What is the duplicate weight?

i think that those are just the 9 weight options. i'm pretty sure they have adjustable weighting

So a $5,000 cue that Seybert's is going to change a weight bolt in, which will in effect change the balance and hit of the cue. Doesn't sound like a JW to me. Sounds like a regular production cue...

LOL here a nice cue for 5,000 bucks with 4 shaft LTD only made 10. Whats next a 3,000 dollar lucasi.

Actually, I do have a $3000 Lucasi but I'll let it go to my
fellow Azers for $240 shipped. The detail work on this cue
has to be seen to be appreciated. Absolutely stunning.
And hits a ton. Comes with matching case.

Well if Bill Stroud made it for Predator the its a Bill Stroud cue.... Surely a high dollar cue. I'm sure someone here can get a backgrounder from Bill himself so all our notions can get clarified...

They Did Only Release Two To The Us. The Other Eight Went To Europe And The Far East.

Apparently Their Is Some Kind Of Market For These Cues. Seyberts Has Already Removed Their's From Their Sight. It Looks Like It May Be Gone. Leaving The Only Other One Left In The Us At Platinum Billiards. Shane At Platinum Got One Of The Two Released In The Us.

I made these cues myself at the request of Predator.
They put on their own leather wraps.
The cues are ebony and silver 4-axis designs.

Soon after these cues Predator started having their cues and shafts made in China.

So what do you think about the price on these cues that you made?
Steven

Well with $5000 you can make a cue that is only one in the world and with 4 shaft, why get something where it is not unique and there are 10 out there, to me, it don't make sense at all.

Mr. Stroud,

Thank you for the clarification.

So, these cues are built with ebony with a maple core which is laminated, with a 4 axis inlay design.

Do you think there is a difference between a regular maple core and a laminated maple core?

Are you telling us Predator is also having their Predator 2 built in China now?

Happy holidays to you,
Richard

Then that's it. Its a Bill Stroud Cue. It wasn't just made for him to sign or something like that. He made it himself.

It has the "touch of the master's hand"... as the story (anecdote) goes. And that's why it sold out that fast.
