as a craftsman, prewitt is in a class by himself. he's conservative and not terribly creative, but his workmanship rivals gutierrez.

What would you consider new? Just curious if there is a time frame.

Dave

P.S. Definitely Madden and Blackcreek if the criteria fits.

Edit-- By the way, how long has Edwin Reyes been building cues?
Then there is Skip Weston and Paul Fanelli.
O.K. There's my five if they are all considered new.

Hey Bruin have you seen any of Richard Hsu's cues. Noing you I think you will like them.

he set up shop at "action billiards" right? he did some ferrule and tip work for me. he showed me some cues. very good for just starting out. he's making a very special one right now for a friend of his. can't wait to see it.

Russ Espiritu and Rick Howard should definitely be on the list.

Espiritu isnt a new cue maker he has been making cues since 1983-84, No idea who rick howard is so I think you got a winner there!

Yeah, I agree on Espiritu. I'm a big fan of his. You never heard of a Rick Howard "Mace" cue? They're nice. Real nice.

Ok Mace I know!!! Do you have you own espiritu sneaky pete??

I can't understand where Shorty is on this thread. He usually knows more about this subject than anyone by waiting outside of Home Depots and tripping everybody that's coming out with a new lathe. ;)

Rick Howard might not be considered a "new" maker anymore.

I dont know what the time limit would be. I have a Mace and have had it
for a while. I have actually owned 3 of his and one I would love to get
back from the guy I sold it to.
Now I have a Mace Break jump and really like it.

I will throw a name that surely needs to be on the list.
Murray Tucker III
I dont think many people have seen his work but its top shelf.
I hope he continues to make cues as he has really slowed down now.
He has a successful business that needs attention.

I like the look of the BlackCreek cues but have not hit with one.
