i just watched the run and ill tell you bill youve improved so much since ive known you its sick.
some people are fortunate enough to be able to master things with ease.
frankly it pisses me off that your this good and worked your whole life.
as soon as you realize how good your playing you will run that 100 on film.
cant wait for it and ill be the first to watch the vid.

Just Kiddin, keep up the good shootin !

I like your style of playing. 14.1 style:wink:
Nice run with a very "stupid" end :sorry:

Ran 51, 54 and 63 today. Schmidty was bored at home so he wanted me to upload the 63. It wasn't the smoothest run but it's something to watch.

Still trying for that elusive 100+ on video.

Nice smooth run. Soft stroking, slow rolling, soft breaking. Bumping balls only when necessary. Very old school look to it.

The ending seemed out of character with the rest of the run. The result for sure, but even the choice of shot and the quick execution seemed a little off.

3 more days to get your 100 on video in 2009. Keep stroking like this and you may get there again.

thanks for the runs Bill. I encourage you to do some of them with a microphone explaining your decision-making the same fashion John did with his run

Nice job getting those runs all in one day. Not the easiest thing to accomplish.

Kudos,
Ray

Nice work Bill!
There were some great shots in there and more importantly some great pattern play to get to the break shots you got too.
The Elvis music was OK too!

I noticed in that 1st rack you started with only 14 balls so I figure that you had missed a shot at the beginning of that rack and just before that super nice run.

Care to describe that shot where you missed and what happened?

Nice observation. I had just run 28, made the breakshot for 29 and basically had no shot, I tried an off angle combo but missed it. I just started from where I missed.

I don't think I could pull that off and have a decent run. I was planning to do a voice over with Schmitdy and I doing the commentary if I ever get a 100+ on video.

When John and I do the commentary on his 294 maybe we will do one if I can get another 80+ before then. Or maybe we will just do one on the 82 I posted last month, that run was technically my best of anything I've run over 50.

WOW!
Just think how close you would have been to that 100 if you had not missed that one shot..... and isn't that always the way it is.
That is one of the very things that makes 14.1 such a great and yet such a frustrating game.

Still it is amazing watching you move around that table.
Keep up the great shooting and believe John when he says you will be breaking that 100 on camera very soon now.

While the simultaneous commentary would be more difficult and require equipment, I think Bill could easily add commentary to his video.

He does it with me all the time. We watch his video and he tells me what he was doing and what he was trying to do and why.

Bill, you ought to put your last run in moviemaker and add a little commentary. I think it would help people a lot. Talk about why you are going into a certain cluster in a certain way. What you are thinking about for your break ball and when, why you are hitting the break balls at a certain speed with certain English.

Everyone knows you can do it. We all heard your commentary on the Schmidt Harriman match. Give it a whirl!

yes, please. And could you elaborate on "triangles" more, I'm sure you apply the same method for end-rack break ball patterns that John mentioned. Could you describe it the way you see and find them?

i use the "Triangle" method as well (Thanks Schmidty), once i spot it i try to figure out which balls will set me up for the "Triangle" so alot of times i guess i am planning like 6 shots ahead.....

I didnt actually think that i thought like that until i just thought about it.
