6 Willie Hoppe Professional cues

Just spoke with Bert and Pat.

The only recollection that Bert had was that of buying an old Brunswick Billiard table with a guy from Florida a LONG time ago. With the table were 6 Hoppe cues. Bert kept one of them and the other guy took the remaining 5.

Bert stated that he never had a set of six Hoppe's in his collection.

From my visits and conversations with Bert and Pat, they were cue makers, not cue collectors.

The seller on eBay has ZERO feedback.

I will send him a message and see if I can get more info.

Russ.....

Bert's or not, you don't often see a 6 pack of these become available. It will be interesting to see what it brings. The zero feed back would certainly concern me though . . .

Send the seller a Question on Location as all I see is USA, used a CREDIT CARD if you Pay Pal so you have RECOURSE!

So did the seller lose money by ending the auction early? Last bid I saw was for $1200 before he ended it today.

I called the seller several days ago and he told me an interesting story. Said he used to play pool at Bert's place quite a bit and had his eye on these 6 cues that Bert owned. Because Bert borrowed a tool of his quite often, he was able to talk him into selling him these cues.

He told me he didn't know if he would end the auction early, and that he would call me back. He never called back, he ended the auction. That's ebay.

On the first day of the auction, I asked him to send me pictures of the points...he never did!
