Seeking Sponsor

I am seeking a sponsor for this tournament. It is Father's Day weekend and I am a good dad or at least my son says so when I have finished a big work project on his house.

I spot most of the players 50-60 hours a week, have an expensive trophy wife who likes to be cared for in the manner in which she has become accustomed to.

My son takes advantage of me and has me doing free manual labor at his house with any of my free time and I still cash. On top of that, he wants to spend the weekend with his dad and has allowed me time off from working on his house, providing he is allowed to accompany me.

I am playing better than I have ever played with my new OB 2 shaft for my POW-MIA Bender cue (pulling out all of the stops).

I eat good food but not necessarily expensive food but require good rest so paid hotel and transportation are a prerequisite. I live in the once beautiful city of New Orleans, LA and look forward to any serious sponsor inquiries. Unfortunately, I had to include the hotel requirement because I found out recently that I am unable to sleep well in my pick up truck.

I would be willing to discuss sharing the payouts that I might earn with my sponsor or donating the winnings to my sponsor's favorite charity.

Now there. Did I cover all my bases? Maybe you guys and gals can help me get over the hump? :D

Joey,

You should have absolutely no problems lining up sponsors! If Royce and the guys at OB Cues don't want to have two male players of John Schmidt's caliber competing head to head under their banner they should at least send you a couple dozen OB-2 blanks gratis for you to sell to offset expenses at this event and Galveston for the way you have been promoting the OB-2. Your glowing reviews have me tempted to buy a few blanks to play with myself.

You have also raised the profile of Jack Justis and Mike Bender tremendously. Every time I see pictures or the real thing I have to pause and admire the POW/MIA cue and case. True works of art that you have done a fine job of getting word out about, a good indication of how you would work for any quality sponsor. Being clean, tidy, well groomed, and well dressed with a smooth southern style has to be worth a bunch when you start doing personal appearances too!

Icing on the cake, you are a silver tongued devil on the mike with the excellent commentary and you are able to finely craft your writings. You are a great communicator. No promises but I am going to put in a good word for you at Bill the Barber's Bait Shop and Pool Room.
