$72 for Accu Stats DCC PPV is ridiculous

No early bird special because of crappy internet at DCC. Pay $8 for the first day plus $64 for the rest. So because the casino has crappy internet we have to pay more? How does that make any sense?

I buy almost all PPVs but I'm really considering not purchasing this one or only purchasing the one pocket and 9 ball. This is way too much money for a PPV. It should be half that.

Most the time we either get some unknown player or there is dead air because a match got done early or they are having a dinner break. So there is nothing to watch anyway. Then the stream is over before 10pm. It's just not worth it when there is only a few hours of good pool a day.

$8/day- Are you kidding? If someone told you 20 yrs ago, u could sit home and watch the biggest pool tournaments live for $8 day, you'd be happy Im sure.

I figure im saving $2100 by not going and seeing lots of the action on AS and IP!

Do you think Accu-Stats is jut making crazy money at this rate????? Kinda doubt it.

Ty sir. Alot of peolpe do not consider the equipment and crew that AccuStats uses. It is not just a guy with a camera on a table who lets it run on its own.
They are a top shelf company who tries very hard to bring you the best product possible.
IMO they are very very fair in every thing they put out there !

Ike Runnels vs. Efren Reyes now, can't beat that.
I am watching champions battle for $10!

I would have considered buying the stream, but I never really heard much about it (like dates/times and prices, who was streaming). Is it just me or what? I always hear about TAR matches in advance and oftentimes purchase a stream match.

I am with you. Live playing for that is cheap.

Hi,
I always put a thread in the "live stream area forum" for these things.
Putting a thread in the main forum doesn't do as much good when it gets lost on page 3 or 4. But in the right forum is much better. Here is the link to my DCC thread there.

The only reason it costs so much is because it's a long event. As others have noted, the per-day cost is excellent, plus you can choose what tournaments you want to see, and even whether you only want to see the day matches or the evening matches. Accu-Stats does a tremendous job and I'm thrilled to be able to watch online since I've never been able to go to the DCC even though I'm from Louisville originally!

that is higher than some fights that are on t.v. ppv. the price is not justified in most peoples minds.

OK, I might do that. What days are best, anybody know? I have to pick and choose what day(s).

That depends on what you like. The banks finals are scheduled for Monday, the one-pocket finals for Thursday, and the 9-ball finals for Saturday.

Last year, the 10-ball concluded on Friday and the 14.1 on Saturday. I don't know whether the schedules for those will be the same this year.

Really...?

that is higher than some fights that are on t.v. ppv. the price is not justified in most peoples minds.

A fight last 3 hours... The Derby last what 9 days? Order a fight every night for 9 days and see which is cheaper then sir. Apples and oranges in my opinion. Derby = $8.00 a day. Fight = $20.00 an hour? Rough guess as I do not watch the fights much any more.

Let's try to keep things in perspective people. It's like the people who complain about $3.50 per gallon for gas or $1.00 for bottled water... But don't even blink at name brand ice cream to the tune of $10.00 a gallon. Before you jump on this one do the math you'll be surprised.LOL

Have a good one everyone!

Pat and the crew at AccuStats do a professional job and should be justly rewarded for such. Thank you to them for all they have done and continue to do for the sport we all love.

I try to stay neutral most of times but few things I will get in your face for and one happens to be paying for quality streams.

It really gets under my skin that most people have no problem shelling out the dough for 'convenient luxury' but as soon as it's out of norm, they act like its the biggest scheme in the world!

People valet (even though they could use a little walking themselves), pay for (pizza) delivery and all types of convenient service to save mere 30 minutes thinking nothing of it but let it be 10 -15 dollars for world quality pool for all day it just have to be a rip off!

I know people who pay around a whole week of PPV at DCC for a fight that may end in 3 minutes and not complain! ... OK they may complain but nothing can be done...

Let's be realistic. We won't see great pool on ESPN for a long time or even never. I am glad for TAR, Accu-Stat and others out there working next to nothing in order to allow us to view matches at our home.

If you think about it, it's really not a rip off scheme

No offense but I rather buy PPV pool than pay for pizza delivery or someone else park my car :D

8 bucks a day is fine, happy to pay

Personally i prefer to see the day's best matches available to download

Live streaming can be painful to watch

I would pay more, this is a great deal and priveladge without AccuStat I would be waiting to read bout it keep up the great work PAT and crew!!

I don't have a problem paying $10 to see world-class pool, and I'm sure most others on here don't either. HOWEVER; we are continually griping about how pool is in a decline, nobody caries it on TV anymore, no sponsors, etc.. Does anyone really expect anyone but diehard fans of pool to pay this amount of money? How can we expect to get newbies into the game if every quality event is PPV? Next time you are out with your non-pool-playing friends, ask them if they want to see some of the best pool players on the planet play. Now ask them to pay $10/day. They won't. I don't blame them either. It would be like me being asked to pay $30 to watch the world pinball championships.

This comes to about $1.50 a match. That is ridiculous. Ridiculously inexpensive! Highly recommended to anyone who has the chance.

Great value here.
