Edwin, my good friend, there's no doubt in my mind that I'll be there eventually! just have to get some "ducks in a row" first. Not positive what part, I'll settle in yet, but it will be somewhere where I'll have some Filipino friends who can keep me out of trouble! LOL I do have that friend in Cebu, who's a Judge. May end up there, if not, I'll probably be imposing on you and Linds again. But I don't want to wear out my welcome or compete with you guys. When is Bobby coming? Is he planning on staying? HMMM Maybe we could all do something together. Oh well, it'll probably be a few more years at least til I can make the break.

Thanks again for being there when I needed your help, buddy!

Davao! Nilda is from there and her cousins hubby is the Human Rights Director there who is friendly with all sectors of the society (left/right wing, government, miliary and civilians). thinking of putting together a poolhall there a block behind city hall and a block from the University belt! No typhoons and a lot of fresh fish, veggies and fruits. Bobby and Jay Helfert may be here next month but am still waiting for a confirmation call from Bob.

Donovan, topnotch play-by-play. Rep points for you. tnx

N shoots a 2 - 7 combo and jawed it. OUCH!
L Leaps out of his chair and makes the 2-7
L makes the 2, and OMG!!! He rattles the 3 in and out just like N did earlier in the same hole N did it in. BUT it got square and tight on the cueball. They are checking to see if the 3 ball is frozen. They say it is not frozen but the cue ball is frozen to the 3.

OH MAN! they left the camera angle on N's butt and not the shot. So we did not see anythig,.
N played an away shot of some kind.
L then played a safe back.

Now they show us the shot. It looks like he did foul on that shot.
N made a kick and missed making the safe.
L makes the 3, 6, 8, 9

This is definitely better than getting 6 straight racks ran on him.

Donovan is going to need a manicure. Please send donations via paypal.:D

Niels has Scott re-rack.

L breaks.....................................DRY! 9 didn't move.
N can see the 1 but it is tough to get on the 2. LOL, Danny says there is a chance to shoot a 1-9 and play safe at the same time.

N - WOW I guees it went through a field goal of balls (4 and 9)
N is now on the 2 ball that is tied up and shot a safety and may have left L a shot on the 2.

L overcut the 2 but may have ended up safe....too many close calls to call this cleanly. Sorry, just to many balls almost in the way. LOL
N

DAMN FEED WENT OUT ON THEIR END! TRYING TO GET IT BACK AS SOON AS THEY GIVE IT BACK>>>>UNBELIEVEABLE!!!!!

OMFG>>> ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!???? SIGNAL Dropped right b-4 the kick on the 2 ARRGH!!!!!

Pool whiz. Do you know what part of the Philippines Luat is from. I spend most of my time in the Philippines in the Northern Mindinao area. Cagayan De Oro, Duka Bay, Camiguin Island. Didn't see a lot of pool action while there, but when I visited Manila as guests of Linds and Edwin Reyes, I got to see quite a bit of the Pinoy wizards. I'm planning to retire in the Philippines eventually, but hope I can find some good pool action in a more laid back, "Kano friendly", part. I could live quite happily on Camiguin Island, but the only pool tables I found there were at Paras Beech Resort and they were outdoor. I did play a bit with an Ausie on his 9 footer, but it was also an open air pool room on his deck. I'm kind of partial to playing pool indoors, with Air conditioning.

just more hot air!

cuesmith,
if i remember right, luat is from the pampanga/tarlac area. the same provinces in central luzon where bata and django came from...camiguin is a lil bit non-competitive pool-wise, but if you're really planning to go where the action is: it is in metro manila and it's in almost all nook and corner of the metropolis that you'll get to be where the action is...but be sure be prepared as those guys wouldn't just let their guards down, i mean they're too tough to beat in money games.....

Pardon my profanity, but that's just plain shitty.

If everyone looked at their clocks, I think it happened at exactly midnight. I guess I can assume the 'subscription' of the coverage expired.

Wow, with all the other times the feed has gone out, they are really going to catch some hell for this. :D

This is about as dissappointed as I can get. I wanna scream and hit something. It had better be the weather or bcn is in deep doo doo.
