You got a source for this?
On what kind of table?
I'll stake the ghost if you're playing on a 9' Diamond.
Common knowledge i think, some wheres around 30%.

Never heard of a 6.5 foot table, you sure it's not 3.5 x 7 which is common for most bar tables these days? We used to have 3 x 6 foot tables north of the Mason-Dixon up until the late '90s or later.
Can you say which page he said this on (assuming it's in his book) or exactly what he said? I have no idea what "runs", "set", or "games" mean in this context. Was he writing specifically about nine ball? When Bob Fancher said a better than average player can get 4 runs per set on a good day, how many games did he mean with the term set?

If he means 10 games per set then he has a high qualification for a better than average player. He means break and run as well. If you break and run in 9 ball 15% of the time you are better than average in my opinion considering you have an open shot after the break only 50% of the time with solid breaking skills. pros run out around 30%. if i take ball in hand after break i can run out about 25% of the time, without ball in hand ican run out aprrox - 10% of the time. i just figured i was at least an average player, but according to bob, isnt true

Percentages and statistics with inflated claims about things =/= common knowledge
When Efren won almost 600 grand in the IPT tournament, he was only break and running 16.9% in the first tourney and 20.35% in the second.
With ball-in-hand, less pressure and an easier table I'll give you some points. That's a different game though, and i'm giving stats on the guy who beat out everyone else for the money
Definitely not an average
Evanlockhart,
The IPT format was 8 ball. And the final tournament first place winnings was $500,000, Rodney Morris came in 2nd.
The IPT had four events before it went to the small streamed video events: the "Pan-sexual World Invitational Championship of Eight-Ball Pool" between Mike and Loree John at Mandalay Bay, the King of the Hill event in Orlando which Efren won, the tournament at the Venetian (Hohman won), and the tournament at the Grand Sierra in Reno which Efren won. On paper, Efren won $700,000 in the two events he won, but I've heard that some savers were in place.... There was more than one IPT tourney, and Efren cashed in both of therm - over 500K total.
