90+ degree cut shot

Dragging this thread back up - did anyone prove that the > 90° shot could be done with inside english? Did mr3cushion ever back up his claims?
With a level cue, and with the object ball being away from the rail so that the cue ball cannot hit the rail prior to its last contact with the object ball?

Nope, neither he nor anyone else has backed up those claims because unless you go rail first (or unless you do something else outside the spirit of the shot being discussed such as scoop jump the cue ball to land slightly on the backside of the object ball etc), a >90° cut shot where the object ball has to travel more than a few inches cannot be done with a level cue and inside english.

Your 50% Correct!

The cue must be 'Elevated' slightly to catch the OB on the backside!

This 'Type/Method' of shot for 3C players also requires a particular stroke to be apllied!

I've demonstrated the shot with the CB Only '1 Diamond' away from the OB more than 200 times in the last 40 years!

Can you share a video? Would love to see it.

Here you go from 1992!

This was the day after the 3C Nationals were played at Chris's Billiards for the first time!

I'll give a little 'Hint', 'Short stroke'!

Ball first back cut 3cushion shot 1992.

Do you have one without the rail in play? Maybe it's just the video but it looks like you just thinned the ball into the rail?
