Was so pleased that this Rosewood/Rosewood (Bolivian) beauty was done . Joe was a real pleasure to work with and I would highly reccomend him to anyone considering a custom cue purchase.

What's not to love? Rosewood on rosewood and tiffany notched diamonds. Great looking cue, though, I do have one question. What happens to the ivory plug if the cue ever needs to be worked on?

Awesome, awesome cue Matt.

@ Zeeder - any qualified cuemaker can make a Delrin receptacle to hold the butt. Mike Webb made one for me when he changed the wrap on a bumperless Hoppe Sugartree I once owned. Worked perfectly and didn't mark the finish.

Congrats on receving such a beatiful cue Matt.
I like how he match the buttcap with the inlay designs.

Thanks CMD! I really like the idea, and the looks, of bumperless cues but I sometimes throw a tantrum and wouldn't want to injure my cue! Perhaps I should get one as an incentive to be more level-headed when playing the game...lol.

You must have tried real hard to be nice and stay off the naughty list this year. Nice cue.

Amazing cue! Love the style.
If you want sell it...I'm your man.

Best,

Andreas

An absolutely gorgeous cue, Matt! I love that it's got just enough "bling", but still has a very nice old school look =) Just curious.. and anyone who knows, feel free to answer... I was wondering what pin Joe uses, and if he only uses one, or does a variety of joint types (I'm a piloted joint person)? I'm sure you'll enjoy that for years to come.. unless you get the itch and someone else gets to enjoy it =)

I think that Joe is open to pin choice . I'm pretty sure I went with 5/16 -14 piloted . Kinda fits the cue.

matt, i had the pleasure of seeing the cue in person, it really is great. the workmanship is top notch. i didn't hit any balls with it but if joe built it i guarantee it will be a real solid hitter. just in time for the cue of the year thread!!! congrats on the cue.

I have Joe some ranges as far as specs . Not exactly sure where it came in at . I'll add them when I have the cue in hand . If joes reading this maybe he'll chime in if he remembers and he could also answer the butt plug question someone asked because I don't know .
