A cue with many autographs,

unless they have simplified it since i created mine about 6 years ago,
it took 4 days for me

my paypal is stix4sale@aol.com
they should send as a GIFT
and put in the thier az screen name in there too
and a post here that they sent it would be helpful also

I believe the reason paypal takes so long is verifying your banking info. I think the actual account is setup pretty quick, but the routing numbers etc.. if you use those takes a few days. Best way to do it is like you offered.

right, it was the verifying the amounts that paypal deposits in the checking acct that took the time

Brent... $20 sent just now.

I know Allan stepped up to the plate big time..... so maybe the others that donated $20 the kid can use while he is there... a little spending money is a nice thing to have on a trip :)

For all you do for pool Mark and Az, put me down for a $20 also.

I'd rather my forum donations go to people that I truly believe deserve it and I'd prefer your son
kept the cue for a few more years.

Besides, you don't have a 2013 join date and I have always enjoyed your road stories while on the road. I can also appreciate that when the guys are on the road, they don't feel the need to stay at Harrahs.

Hey, where's that short little guy hiding, lets hit him up for a 20 also.

Edit - I went from 1st page to post so missed Allen's generous offer. Very cool Bud. Brent, I will send a Pay Pal to you to forward just the same. A young fella can always use a bit of extra while at camp and for the summer anyway.

I don't have a paypal account but I can send a US Postal Money Order to you if you think you have enough time to get it for the camp fees. When are they due? I can send enough to cover it all......let's get him to Church camp.

Put that cue away for him and tell him to never get rid of it.

Very well done indeed Allen! I thank you for your kind gesture and I agree 100%. So with that said, put me down for another $20. Just please tell me where to sent the PayPal for this young man to learn more of the man in charge...GOD!

OK...foundd out where to send the PayPal. Maybe if I would read more I would have never missed it...lol. My donation has be send. I only wish I could do more. Mark, tell your son that the guys at AZB want him to have a great time!!!

Thank you to the people who have decided to jump on board to help my son so he doesn't need to Sell his cue. Again, I just can't believe you guys doing this. Thanks BHQ who basically started this ball rolling of his own accord.
So here is an update. I called my son who was with his friends hanging out and told him what has happened today. He is over the moon and simply said in a very excited voice thats AMAZING!

I did have some stipulations that I shared with Allen that he keep working to raise money even though he is taken care of. He has wanted to give 25% of what he raised to the families in Oklahoma (That was him on his own) I told him that he had to make sure that he had his camp money first and them do other things. So now he knows that nomatter what he will be going to Church Camp he is committed to keep going and raising more money and he will probably just take whatever is above his own camp and he had said he knows a couple of other kids who are not sure if they will be able to go and so he will probably just put the money through the Church to help those kids get to go too.

He asked if Iknew the addresses of the people who were helping him and obviously I don't and so he will be posting a thank you thread I believe in the next day or so.

Numbers to what I can gatehr at this point are

$300.00 = From his family and some other things he has been trying to get done.
$110 = From the kind people here on AZ who have been throwing $20's in the pot
So as of right now short $190.00 I will be making contact with that info to Allen who as you know said he would put in whatever was short tomorrow.

What a day! Its not the money. It's the people who have been willing to do something for someone else that in some cases they do not even know. I have told just about everyone I have seen or spoke with today about this and everyone gave a sigh and a slight shake of their head in amazment that people do have a good side although its easy to forget that sometimes in life these days. Thank you all very much again if for only restoring my faith in people.

Mark, that's awesome. To think that the help here is snowballing into an effort from your son to help others as well, that makes it even better. It's a lot easier to get something done when you've got others behind you.

Yeah, that whole "Pay it Forward" concept. Maybe My son will help someone else to get there and then they join forces to help the next and so on.

I'm in!

Hope the youngster has a great time, church camp can be awesome!!
The values gained can be priceless...:)
