here is a few plain players im trying to have ready for SBE. i havent ever really had the time to build "extra cues" but i had a very busy dec/jan so i cut back on some work and did this in some spare time. anyways enough with the life story. if you want one of these and have a specific style of ringwork let me know. im dying to do one with a double silver ring with a brass ring in between broken up by some black rings so atleast one with have that set up.

1st bacote prob wont be ready
2,3,4 is some decently figured cocobolo
5 is olivewood

cues will be in the $400-$500 range depending on ringwork

Sweet

Sweet woods Dave. I really like the second blanks from the right! The one next to that is really nice too. Great figuring.

The figure in the #2 coco is very interesting. When that gets clear on it I bet it will look very cool.

Good stuff Dave. I love my cocobolo and that is some nice coco.
Be nice to see the finished cues, keep us updated.
PS - You're right, with the right ring work it will make these cues stand out.

Wow Dave, thats some beautiful wood. Can't wait to see the finished product.

Thanks for the previews.

The wood looks great Dave, and the asking price seems very fair.

Take care

thanks myron. looking forward to seeing all of you at SBE. i have had that middle piece cut for a very long time. i was considering making a 4 point ebony into coco with that one. it is fiery yet uniform thru out. the first and thind are much more swirly and both have vifferent characteristics. exactly what i looks for in a pj. plain but beautiful wood
