I knew a guy who in around 81-82 had aver $500,000 in model trains, man it was the coolest thing I ever saw, It was giant-in his wearhouse. I sure wish I had pics of it, it took him a few years to build and should have been on public display it was so amazing, it was detailed beyond what you could imagine. this thread reminded me of it, He had family $$$, endless $$$ and when he got into something he would go the whole way. If he collected cues, he would buy up every Szam there is no matter what the price if he decided to. Bruno was his name, real nice guy. Brings back good memories. He should have spent some $$$ on plastic surgery, he got a bad roll in the looks dept. LOL. Guess you cant have it all.:)
 
There's no reason they wouldn't have cause to mix it up a bit.
My layout is better than your layout. My diesel can kick Vin Diesel's butt. Your choice of signals is totally wrong for that crossing. Shit like that.
A person can start a rukus from just about anywhere. :)

I was just thinking that they must at least get into knock-down drag-out fights over which is the best gauge. :grin-square: I liked the bigger Lionel sized trains when I was a kid, probably because my neighbor had a pretty decent set up. No room in my house for a train set - I had a pool table in the basement. :grin-square:
