Edwin "Bandido" Reyes was murdered today. Most likely for his activism concerning the state of Philippine pool.

He was also a master cue maker who brought much innovation to the art.

This is very shocking news. My deepest condolences go out to the Reyes family, Edwin's friends and the Filipino billiard community.

If this murder is pool related and connected to those who "run" pool (AKA different pool federations/organizations/etc.) then pool needs to be banned from any association to sport.
