A Huebler Custom Shop on the bay...

The high bidder right now bid three times in a row and already had the highest bid when he bid. Lately, high bidders are not paying when they win. Ebay has been the worst lately for sellers to be lying and buyers are not paying.

To be perfectly honest...this item will probably be removed from Ebay because of the word Ivory. :frown:

I won't comment on the value, but Ebay does not like the word ivory....the ad is very likely to be removed.

Cool cue. but about a grand over what I would even consider selling it for. Much less buying.Maybe I'm off but, I've never seen a huge market for higher priced Hueblers in recent days
 
Custom Lacewood

All I can tell you is Paul didnt build very many of the Custom Lacewood, had someting to do with the amount of work on the inlays. You just dont see them come up for sale very often,
I know when the cue first came out the dealer price was over 1500 on the cue
We will see if it truly sells or not
I have alot of Pauls customs cues but that one I dont own
and I wouldnt have paid more than my dealer price for it either

Rare..

I think Terry is right about it being a rare cue.. I have owned alot of Hueblers over the years and have never even seen this cue. I would'nt be interested in it anyway because I don't like the design but I'm sure it is a rare one.. You just never know what someone will pay for what they consider to be the "right" cue. I've listed and sold cues on Ebay that brought twice what I thought they would...Go figure......
 
Ebay bidding on this cue. The comment where poolguy4u mentions the 3 bids in a row looks fishy, it is fishy as I know the top bidder and he is straight as an arrow, but, here's the thing. He put in a bid at $ 1,800.00. We both can't figure out where the $ 1,799.00 bid came up??, someone put in a bid at around 10:00 PM on Weds night, then retracted the bid last night at around 9:00 PM, according to the bid cycle, my friends bid should have dropped down to $ 1,275.00, but it is hanging showing three bids. Someone, somehow, some glitch, something, something something is not right here. No way should my friends bid be hanging at $ 1,800.00. He is complaining to ebay at this moment as he is not happy and possibly going to recant his bids as it appears as some game is being played. If anyone could possibly give an explanation, please post it and I will copy it and send it to him for some ebay artillery for him when he talks to them.
