Chris just called me and asked me to post this for him. When he was working in his shop the other night he had a tube of Epoxy explode and it got in his eyes. He went to the Emergency Room and he is now recovering. He is concerned because people have been trying to reach him but he has not been able to get back to them. He is doing alright but he is still having vision problems. He is very sorry that he has not responded but he will get back with everyone as soon as he can. I am posting for him because he can't use the computer right now. Thank you all for your understanding.

Epoxy Pump

I spoke with Chris after Will and it was actually an epoxy pump that malfunctioned and shot epoxy into his eye.
He's going to be out of commission for a few of days and is sitting in bed in quite a bit of pain.
Hopefully there isn't any permanent damage to his eye but is sounds rather serious.
I'm going to try and see him tomorrow.

If anyone has been trying to get in touch with him let Will or I know and we will get him the message.
Chris is concerned about the people that have tried to reach him, but he had to turn his phone off.
The pain he is going through is unbelievable.
I wish him the best.

Peace

Ted

I Wish Chris the best, I've had my share of eye injuries, but thankfully only wood chips and such, nothing like this. Hope all comes out great.

Tell Chris that Gene and Renee' of Crown Cues wish him a speedy recovery. We want him to be able to see well, so he can make sure his socks match. Hopefully, that will help him smile, even if only for a moment.

Also, tell him if the other forum doesn't already have a notice about this in it, I'll get the word out for him.

Get well and back to cue making soon! There has been a string of bad luck lately with cuemakers. I hope this is the last of it.

Hey Chris get better quick and i hate to say this but i must "Safety glasses".
I live near Chris and in Dec he took the leather wrap off my Lucasi and did a super job of putting linen on it.
Also i called him the day after Xmas and he said come on over and had it done in about 30 minutes and let me watch.

Hello everone. I am just back from the eye doctor. Looks like it should heal up without any loss of sight. Unfortunately I have a few cues that will not make it to valley forge now. I will try to get back to work this week and get done what I can. Thanks everyone for all the support!
