***A New Era In Pool Coverage***

I just noticed the thread right now..seems like pretty interesting concept! Cant wait to see the first issue of your magazine and then I will decide if it is a go for me to buy the next.. :) As I own Venom Trickshots DVD I know your production skills are second to none in pool world so it is really just matter of content of the magazine for me..good luck! :)

Thanks for the compliments everyone.

I finally got a hold of VISA to see if they'd cover my loss, but it seems they won't since they claim I'm covered under my dads home insurance. It seems that although I just moved and didnt have my own insurtance, my legal address is listed at my old mans (thats where I have my mail sent to since I move every 8 months). As such, I may indeed qualify. The downside is that he has a $2000 deductible.

A handful of people have contacted me lately requesting to send me donations, however I'm not overly comfortable with that idea. I'm considering instead maybe offering a years subscription to these people as a gesture of thanks.

Any thoughts on this?

Holly,

The project is indeed in jeopardy. The first two issues are filmed and one is already edited, but without my gear, all future issues cannot be made.

I've decided to keep editing and hope for some sort of miracle...stay focused and just hope it all works itself out. If it doesn't, I simply will abandon the project and will not sell any subscriptions. Simply put, I just refuse to give up yet.

PS. For anyone who isn't aware, Holly is referring to a pretty bad car accident that I was in on the way back from the US Open yesterday. My vehicle was written off, and all my gear was destroyed (about $10k worth of cameras and whatnot), and sadly it was uninsured (as most of it was just bought the day before the Open).

Check with your insurance company, but your homeowners policy may cover your loss. It sounds crazy but I was covered through my homeowners when I was transporting some equipment during a move. I hope it works out for the best. Sounds like a very worthwhile project!

I see you already found out about the homeowners deal.
