Every adult is responsible for the deaths of thousands of animals.
Vegan? Bambi and thousands of his brothers are killed every year to protect the soybeans you eatas well as millions of other living creatures large and small. Not only that, the rainforest is being cut down to plant more of those soybeans. You are also responsible for poisoning the environment with all of the herbicides and pesticides used to grow the beans not to mention poisoning the air running heavy equipment.
Plastic shoes and clothes? You are responsible for poisoning our air, earth, and waters for generations.
Elephant ivory in US made cues? In the overall scheme of things it is meaningless. Not only is ivory that hasn't been aged for decades ignored by US cuemakers, the vast majority of new ivory goes to the far east with almost none reaching the US. If it makes someone feel good to have an ivory free cue, great. If someone likes the look or hit of ivory that is fine too.
As for the folks using elf parts, I have notified the ACLU. I've also notified America's Funniest Video's but I'm just trying to cover all my bases there!

I'm glad he shipped mine cause he is going to be pissed now that I named him and all those animal rights activists are lining up outside of his house to protest ....

Seb, it's up to you what you want in a cue. I could argue that I won't purchase a cue from any maker that uses the color red because it has been shown that red causes angry feelings and violent reactions.
I could argue that too many trees are torn down for us to use building cues for a recreational game! But that would limit me to a CueTech and according to some pros put me at a 2 ball disadvantage to anyone shooting with a wood shaft.
My point being, you have a personal choice. I think you've made your point here. If you don't want a cue with Ivory then if you find one with Ivory, don't buy it. You have a choice.
I personally don't agree with a reality show about dating Tila Tequila...but I'm not going to tell you what to watch. I'll just turn the channel myself. I wonder if there's anything about elephants on National Geographic?

While we are talking about how mean these elephants and camels are I want to nominate Jeff Eason for the bravest man I know ... He uses Buckhorn on his cues ... You can talk all you want about these mean elephants and camels but I was watching this commercial for a video on deers and these hunters were going in after this deer when it rose up on it's hind feet and beat the heck out of the hunter with it's front feet ( Have any of you seen it ?) ... sbe9, It's not that difficult to find hundreds of cues without ivory. Call/Email or visit any retailer or cuemaker they will be glad to help you with your specifics.
All seriousness aside: Elephants stomp/maim/gore/kill dozens of poor barefoot villagers every year ~~ That's their job. I specifically order ivory loaded cues and pay extra for full sized ivory boxes to store them in. It's my small way of supporting the poor villagers.
Elephants are the #1 most sneaky cheap shot dastardly animals on earth. They''ll give you a slug rack everytime! Cats are second or third somewhere. Just ask any Zulu with any sense at all.

Just for the record, the thread originator was pretty much a troll. He pretended like English was not his first language, but would misspell the same word different ways, which is almost a sure sign of someone "pretending".
