A personal note for RJ, and the world...

JW, you said most of it here. Take care of yourself, because after all - that's all you have. You gotta do what you gotta do.

I may have not been as patient as I could have over the past few years, but you've proven to me that you will do people right. Keep the faith.

ScottR. Your family and anyone who knows you is VERY lucky.
And this is the rest of it....

Keep your head up. Things will happen for the better.

In response to JW's post

JW,

I don't know you, but I did read your post word for word, and you really choked me up because I could literally feel your pain....I can tell the quality of a person you are by the extremely detailed heartfelt story you shared about the current horror in your personal life with your friends, customers and complete strangers on here....

You appear very honest and upfront and the kind of person I would like to get to know !

I only wish the best for you and hope you recover very quickly from this nightmare !

Sincerely, Eddie Wheat

I hope everything continues to get better for you each day, JW.

You are a good man. Don't ever forget that.

I must now eat crow and confess regret for my direct stab at RJ. While he asked me to post publicly, he did not ask for the direct bashing that I so quickly administered.

RJ, your last pm speaks volumes. I respect what you said greatly and appreciate the opportunity to deal with people such as yourself.

I will let you know when it is finished and then you can decide it's fate. You paid me for a cue, and the cue is what you will get. I will honor your request if it is still your desire at that time.

Thank you.
JWP

JWP,

I don't know the whole situation but from what I have read, you have my deepest respect. Hope life gets brighter for you soon.

Peace, JBK

I don't know you at all JWP, but I wanted to reiterate what some of the other posters are already saying about keeping your chin up and keep plugging away at it. I was in a pretty bad situation in the past financially and I definitely remember thinking about the "easy out" that involved a bullet. :( I obviously didn't go that route and while my life isn't all I'd like it to be, it's pretty damned good all things considered. :)

Family first is the correct choice you've obviously made.

Peace out billiard bros. :D

This is exactly what I would do. This is very good advice, and from someone that's been there. I would add one one thing...sell the gun today. You don't need that option around at this time plus you can use the money you get for it. Johnnyt

I have read the entire thread. Firstly, your story is painful, All I can offer is sympathy and a wish for a better future. You appear to have many stalwart friends from the postings herein. May I offer to you that you have many blessings as well, in particular, your children, another is your honesty and apparently, a strong drive to succeed........God Bless you and good Luck. Oh, yes, edited since I forgot to add, ditch the gun.........

I, also, have been through it, multiple times. I was suddenly cast into the single father role, have gone through a foreclosure on a house, a bankruptcy, and other debilitating things. Believe in Jesus, he can turn your life around.

Someone I rely on for the last year, and I really like him, is Dr. Charles Stanley. He is a refreshing minister that talks plain and relates the word of God to today's life. He is on Cox Channel 37 every Sunday morning at 7 am.
He is also on 47 or 49 at 7 pm Sundays. He has been an inspiration to me.
As Dr. Stanley would say, 'Put all your trust in Jesus, and leave all the consequences to him'.

Basically, the dude (RJ) is owed a cue from me (for a good long while now) and is tired of waiting, so he sent me an email this morning making some personal stabs at me, including accusing me of "hiding" or not owning up to my shortcomings. I blew a fuse and apparently caught a case of diarrhea of the mouth (or keyboard).

Just give the guy two options. Continue to wait and you will get the cue done when you can or just give him a refund. I would take the refund myself. You have too much going on to be focusing on making cues.

Glad you didn't give up...

Sorry to hear of your recent troubles. Glad that things are starting to turn towards the upside of life. When I bought some leather wraps from you a while back, they were better than advertised, I was very impressed with the quality. Hope all keeps getting better and better. Those with no patience will probably never understand or have the ability to appreciate what you have had to deal with. There is always light at the end of the tunnel, just a little hard to see sometimes.

Reading these posts got me kind of emotional I realized that this pool community has a heck of a lot of heart and I believe there's nothing but sincerity in these posts. My father who died many years ago used to say "keep the faith" I think that's what you have to do knowing things will be better tomorrow. Like Mr Olsen said your kids really need you now! Be there for them and help each other get through it. God Bless You. Philw

JWP,
I've one dealt with you minimaly but every transaction has been above and beyond my expectations. I know Kenny Koo and we've even talked about the quality of your products in the past. He has nothing but nice things to say about you... even behind your back. :D
I wish you the best of what the future has to offer. You are an absolute asset to the game and to our little community. With warmest regards, :R:

Petree, good luck with everything. I have been scorned in the same fashion by a woman too, although not to your extent, I know on some level how it feels.

Be strong.
