A sneek peek at some new work in progress from Mark Gregory.

Your are the king! F'in beautiful, I wish you made trips to Canada. I have a woodworking shop and some exotics i wish I could work with you to make something awesome

i dont know mark personally but if you showed up at my house with a truck full of rift cut lacewood we can build you a pirogue for all i care lmfao....

This Real King Cobra is a tough guy to figure out
on one hand he compliments Mark Gregory for the fine work he is doing and on the other

he points out flaws in my pool game, suggesting that tight pockets exceed my ability

never mind the fact that he is right

I need to sell my Kling in order to have room for this Centennial Masterpiece

whichever sells first,I play the other one

I really like the far out wood, the Honduras Rosewood

I am even getting Mark to make one of his LED lights of the same Honduras wood to match It

What do you guys think about the far out wood?
Some think it is too loud,I thought so at first, but the more I look at it
the more I like it

When Mark finishes it<, hope to post pictures for you guys to see.

Thanks for posting these pics to the Cobra

…Yes sir, on all of the above,
well, except the cobra at the knees of deanoc’ skirt part, but, cobra has always said you gotta look under the hood, somebody has to do it and this certainly is the exception…

U all are talking about the nuts and bolts of table construction, right?

That area of the rail and pocket coming together has its challenges, I’m trying vision how the new rails, cushions and pocket come together, intriguing for sure, thanks for the post.

That sir, is the art of understanding the concept of making a pool table play at its absolute best to which Mark and I have down pat. It's challenging to try and figure out all the tricks of the trade on your own, when it's so much easier if you have another scientist so to speak who understands your language over the phone when talking about design ideas and new concepts the way Mark and I do. Anytime I work out something new, or come up with a new way of doing something, I never fail to talk with Mark about it to see what he thinks as he does the same with me as well, we're on the phone with each other almost daily, sometimes for hours. Most table mechanics have no idea how much one can change the way a pool table plays just by changing the way the rails bolt to the slates, or by simply just changing out the rail bolts to harder bolts. Mark is the absolute best artist there is when it comes to combining beauty and functionality in a pool table, and his choice of canvas for his art is the Centennials and Anniversaries as the original concept of the pool tables was great, but regardless of what everyone wants to believe, Brunswick's mechanical design at the time was sure flawed. This is where Mark really sets his tables apart from everyone else that offers these 2 pool tables for sale, while they're offering what looks to be beautiful restorations, they do nothing to fix the inherent flaws in the initial design.....and Mark refuses to let one out his door without the flaws corrected, and THAT.....is the brush strokes of the artist in Mark.....that you'll never see....unless so none who knows.....points them out to you!!!
