....and to all the folks I met while in town to watch Shane and Scott battle it out.

Would've loved to been there for the whole thing, but couldn't stay for tonight's finale. Met a buncha nice folks, played a bit of pool, watched some INCREDIBLE play, and had an all around good time. Cool to put some faces with the screennames, of course, though it feels odd asking someone what their screenname is...lol. Every bit worth the trip, and would certainly do it again. I REALLY need some sleep now.

PS. the consumate pot stirrer Mikey Frost - has even worse taste in shoes than I do!!!! Tough to do, but COOL! lol :p
 
Good post...you make me wish I'd been there. Not too close to Oregon, tho...
 
We were there at the same time... Friday night and didn't meet. Where were you sitting? I was next to the score keeper, next to Jerry Behnke.

Lenny - met Kolby's owner while up there, and told him how much I enjoy your Tues. stream each week. We talked for a bit, made fun of you ;) :p, real good guy. It's definitely time to get back to AZ for spring training - maybe next year.

I was right next to Jerry's boys in the bleachers - Friday night, top row, red TAR shirt....Saturday, same place, black Adidas polo. I knew I shoulda asked more folks where they were from, and their AZB handle....lol. I'll run into you at Mark's place sometime though :thumbup:

Haha, I am assuming it was Doug, he is a real character and I mean that in a good way. Thanks for the kudos and look forward to when we meet, I will buy the first round. ;)
 
Whoa buddy...Only wore the crazy pink shoes 1 time man. It was nice to meet you too, and if you wanna give up that 7 out we can tee it up soon. Off to Good Hope Illinois now!
 
Big Dogs was heaven. Plenty of tables, waitresses were on the ball, John and Marc were working non-stop to make everything run smooth. Can't wait to go back there again sometime.:thumbup:

Other than the guy selling shirts on Saturday, everything was GREAT. I guess wearing shirts a size too small is the trend though, so thanks for updating my normal - little too big tee look. :D Nice meeting you Tanner. Wish I could've seen you play some so I coulda asked for the world, spot wise.....
