I sent this Mike on Facebook to look into it.
"hey mike we were having a nice discussion on the front page with a lot of thoughtful comments and links and the whole thread disappeared. Could you look into is. It was by a user named Sam Lanbert and contained a poll on aiming. Everyone was being cool and civil."
Maybe it was a glitch in teh matrix.

Oh good grief, John. You had thousands of your posts deleted. How much thoughtful discussion could you have possibly had in a few dozen? Get over it. I hope they shot it into the deepest darkest black hole on the internet they could find.

And I just went to all the trouble to duplicate that guy's 5 shot video. I spent half my friggin' day off reading that thread and now it's gone. I thought there was some interesting stuff there including things I wanted to look into further. I didn't see any problems with the discussion, other than a hijacking of the original post, but what else is new?

I'm a little disappointed also....I rarely read aiming threads but I thought that one was going
well.....and I still had some videos to watch that caught my fancy.
By the way, Dan...what is the cue in your avatar?....I always admire it when you post.

It was an aiming discussion thread. Mike Howerton has specifically asked that aiming discussion (particularly extensive aiming discussion) only be done in the aiming forum he created specifically for it and is not allowed in the main forum (and has even specifically told you directly and you have gone round and round with him about it) because they are a very hot button issue that usually turn into flame wars. You more than literally anyone else on this site are aware of his "rule" about it because you were the biggest offender and had many run ins with him about it. You were even reminded about his feelings/rule on the topic in the very same thread you are playing dumb about. You also know that he has deleted or moved those threads in the recent past just about every time he found them and knew it was expected with this one.
Pretty obvious that this thread is just a thinly (way too thinly) veiled attempt to push Mike's buttons and maybe hope to raise a little public sentiment against him as a bit of "revenge" since you disagree so strongly with his position and are more affected by it than anyone as the biggest offender. Way too transparent and obvious with your attempt though.
As far as I can tell, there is one person instigating problems here. And it ain't the guy who is fresh back from vacation.

Well the OP is also trying to reach pro status in 5 yrs we know JB is also of the belief natural talent is non existent any anyone who puts 10k hours in can play like Shane
So he might have a soft spot for the young lad
However it's clearly a thread that belongs in the aiming decision part of the forum
I can't for the life of me understand why anyone would think any different
