A Very Sad Day

I was very sorry to hear of Tom's passing. Tom loved the game of pool. He always had more than his share of medical problems. He never let that slow him down. I know if there is a pool player heaven, Tom is there. Rest in Peace Tom. J. Lavin
 
Tom played in our straight pool league at Red Shoes but not for a while. I knew he had some health issues, but did not know the extent. Hadn't seen him for a while. He was pretty enthusiastic about pool. He told me how he went up to a pool tournament many years ago on the North Side with Bob Cozzolino and ran a 50 something.

He will be missed.
 
You were very lucky to have a friend like that to enjoy pool with. I'm sorry for your loss as I can imagine he was irreplaceable. My condolences.
 
I want to thank everyone for there kind words, they mean a lot to me, and I know to Tom to.

I lost one of my closest friends last year on fathers day .Remember the good times .A real friend is a rare find .

My condolences go out to you and your friend's family. He will be with you always. Every time you look at his cue you will have memories of him. This has been a bad year for me also on having great losses. It is very hard to find a great friend these days. Take care!

That's terrible news and I feel for your loss. My best pool playing friend moved to NC and I miss our good times together a lot, but your loss is much worse. I'm sorry to hear this.
