This thread is full of one opinion or the other, as I knew it would be.
Accu-stats will be able to tell if the price is to high by the amount of people buying the product. But to pay a full crew, equipment, commentators, etc... something has to be made from the events.

Being in China I wish Accu-Stats would loop the PPV matches like TAR does. I paid for the week but the way the schedule looks I have to stay awake from about 11am to about 7am to watch the streaming.

They need the crew w/o the PPV. They are mostly there to record DVD's for resale. Everything else comes next. Johnnyt
after being tortured watching the big foot ten ball on the inside pool stream accu stats is like an oasis in the desert. ustream has got ridiculous with their repetative commercials & the quality of the inside pool stream was the worst I've seen since streams started.Alvin who is the commentator on inside pool should never go near a microphone. His bashing of the TAR guys was absurd as TAR has done wonders for pool along with Pat at accu stats.

Regarding ads, get adblock plus for Firefox or Chrome and you will never see another ad again.
Haven't watched much of the IP stream but Alvin wasn't on when I did. Danny Harriman was and the conversation between him and the chatroom was "interesting" but not bad.
I think streams are kind of reaching the point where there are too many of them and a general sense of cattiness seems to be setting in. I love the fact that there are three streams happening but it's an awful lot to keep up with. I can't possibly consume all of them.
I can't speak too much about bashing the competition because I am in the middle of a rant about one of my competitors. But I don't really know what anyone could have against TAR. The way I see it TAR paved the way for IP to exist IMO. While Accu-Stats pioneered pool video and pioneered live streaming TAR pioneered the go-anywhere-and-stream-the-action streaming taking it to a pretty sweet level. They were the inspiration for BigTruck, Fast Lenny, TV Mike and Inside Pool as far as I see it. Had they not hauled their gear EVERYWHERE in the beginning then I doubt anyone else was going to step up and we would probably still be watching streaming from webcams.
Yeah I'm not one to complain about getting something for free, but yeah I agree with you. It was difficult to watch, and the TAR comments rubbed me the wrong way as well. I think there was also a few words or at least implications thrown Accu-Stats way also. It just didn't seem very professional.
This was just one of two of these they were dealing with-Taken at Tunica-they worked on the Arena 1& 1/2 days mimimum.
In the pic blurred out is Julian. Great guy that I know personally. Actually alot of the crew are from here.
Julian was a great friend of Grady Matthews, and still has Grady's personal Pinnacle Richard Black cue.
