It is now official!

The “Make It Happen” 1-Pocket Invitational is scheduled to take place from March 28-31, 2013 in the Simonis Arena at Sandcastle Billiards in Edison, New Jersey, the same site as the “Make It Happen” 8-Ball Invitational.

The 8-Ball Invitational was a phenomenal success. The 1-Pocket Invitational promises to be even better.

For four days, six of the best 1-Pocket players in the world, as judged by Accu-Stats’ customers, will play in a “Round Robin” event on a 10’ Diamond pool table to crown a champion.

As with the 8-Ball event, Accu-Stats will be offering an attractive package to its customers. Those that take advantage of the package will help decide which pros will play.

Stay tune for details and we welcome your comments.

Unless the WPA slides something on the schedule like they are apt to do... We have dates!!!!

Why in the world would you play One Pocket on the 10ft tables? It's a great game on the 9ft tables. Please don't ruin it

We have waited so long for something like this. The 10ft table just cheapens the event. Let us find out who wins under normal conditions

Corey would be the rouge in the event.... With the list we have he'd be breaking every rack wide open because he doesn't think he can move with them...... I think I may agree.......

I don't think so. He is one of very few Americans to ever break even with Efren playing even at One Pocket. It was in Corey's prime but still. You are fooled if you think he can't move the best of them

Hello Onepocket, we meet again. I agree Corey has good moves in one pocket, i like his game with Efren a while back (it is on YouTube) he out moved Efren to last ball in the match.

Raphael Martinez (pardon any spelling errors)

Lots of great players, I was trying to think of some of the more "one pocket" one pocket players. :) I think in this game it is more fun to watch certain guys than just great gun slingers.

FYI Chris Gentile would be a GREAT CHOICE. I can' believe how low he is on the list.

I didn't know that. I have seen a tournament match where what you said happened. Corey dominated him then fell apart completely. I was talking about a gambling match though. If it is on youtube, please share the link

I would say because of his firepower. I really like his game, its intelligent and regular joe can learn a good deal from watching him play. Here is my rating of who I think is best. If you played them in pairs as the list goes then you would have some great matches that are coin flips.

Scott Frost
Efren Reyes

Shane Van Boening
Alex Pagulayan

Shannon Daulton
Jeremy Jones

Dennis Orcullo
Francisco Bustamante

Darren Appleton
Cliff Joyner

Chris Gentile
Sylver Ochoa

Jose Parica
Justin Hall

Leaving for the US Open on Thursday... Anyone else have votes to cast?

Will try and see just how many of the top players are there... I know several are scheduled to be there... The one I can't get a line on is Scott Frost.....

Will be bumping this between now and DCC... There was an interview on the Open stream with Alex but logistics wouldn't allow for any other interviews... Would like to see as many of the "top vote getters" do an interview segment at Derby as possible....

Is this poll/thread affiliated with Accustats, or is it just us fans posting for our own amusement? It was my understanding only people who actually "paid" for the dvd's of the proposed event would have a vote as to who plays, not the entire AZ population. Thank you for clearing up the purpose of this poll.
