They are just unnecessary and irritating. There is no reason to use them. With your ever improving bandwidth the picture is plenty good for us to see regular balls.

Your announcers can't even figure them out.

I'll watch despite the skittle balls, but please stop using them!

Personally, I'm a traditionalist and agree with you that the regular colors are fine. As George Fels once said while commentating a 14.1 match, "Pink is for panties."

Regarding the announcers, however, here's a thought: write down which colors go with which balls.
 
Not sure if Accu-Stats reads this or not, but I agree the normal colours would be better.
I think in a match or two-three I will have them figured out but for now it is confusing.

I don't like the new colors either BUT,

Why is it Accu-Stats is automatically to blame ?

Plus they get the blame for the lousy internet the hotel provides !

Just remember to give them the credit when everything goes right.

Btw the stream is running very well today.

I paid for the stream and had to guess which ball they were playing position for, who ever thought these would be better balls for tv definitely blew it. Please go back to regular balls.
 
It took me close to 3 matches to get a bead on it. I love to look at a fresh break layout and predict the pattern. I couldn't do it and it's still difficult for me. :(

On my laptop, the rez isn't good enough to distinguish certain like colored balls unless it's a closeup. It's better when I hook up to my flat screen.

I fully understand Accu-Stats got sponsor money for it. But these balls are annoying and tough to get used to.

I thought the different colors was a marketing strategy for cyclop, didn't realize that they had a separate tv ball set

TV colors SUCK! Definitely not my colors.....definitely not my colors.

Yea but ya think ya'll could maybe print out a picture of the balls and give it to the commentators so at least they could maybe glance down at it and then they could know for sure which ball is which and they could relate that to the viewers as the game progresses. Why do the different ball makers think that a change in traditional colors is needed?? I do not.

We are not exactly blaming Accu-Stats here, more like strongly suggesting something.
However, to answer your question, it is because I am paying Accu-Stats, so if there is
something I am not happy with I go to who I am paying.

Not my fault if the internet is shoddy, I paid (stream has been 100% stable for me), so I
did my part.

This is so much better watching on a big screen.

I believe they only changed colors on the 6 and 7. If they changed any others, it was minor.

Rodney is playing miserably. Accustat rating is @ 630. Efren @ 860. Don't recall ever seeing a rating for a pro that low. 9-2 Efren.

Guess I'm in the minority but I like them. Easier for me to tell the difference in balls
