We are proud to (finally:D ) announce the Action Challenge 2.

This event will take place in The Action Report Room at the Qlympics in Louisville, KY. The format is as follows:

Thursday Nov. 15 : Play until one player wins 30 games.

Friday Nov. 16 : Play until a player gets to 60 games.

Saturday Nov. 17 : Conclude the race to 100.

The rest of the format is pretty much unchanged.

10 ball
Rack your own
No jump cues

$10,000 entry. Winner take all.

The entire 3 day event will be available LIVE via Pay Per View Internet Stream on www.theactionreport.com. Price is $25.

There is another little event on the flyer as well. I will start a seperate thread for that. :D

Sounds great!!

I dont think John S. is going to like his match up one bit though. Danny, although unheralded, is a monster!! This is going to be a match buddy!!

It is far enough out. are you going to try and setup one of these at the DCC?

Danny isnt exactly unheralded... he's pretty well known, and yes he is a monster... but so is Johny boy... but i do believe your right... its going to be a war.

JCIN-So now that Earl walked off his 9ball match with Mike Davis (even after winning the one pocket event) aren't you alittle concerned about your event and what he might do and the after effects for you if he does take a early exit. I fear your ppv will now suffer over the Davis match walk off. Good luck, hope it goes off without any problems.

I have yet to read about the event you speak of. Here is my take on the whole walk away problem.

Earl is going to do what he wants. Me worring about it has no bearing on his actions. If he wants to shoot $10K up in the air that is on him, he is a grown man. Earl and his sponsor Mike Gulyassey have given us their word and posted up money that Earl will show up and play the match like a gentleman. I know his history, but until he breaks his word to us, it is good.

As far as the Pay Per View suffering, if all we were worried about was the money we would have quit after the first one. We love what we are doing. If Earl leaves early for some reason or the other, that is on him. We will move on to the next match. If he stays the course and shocks everyone by winning, we will do the exact same thing. Move on to the next match.

We know there are going to be some bumps and hurdles in the road, we will make mistakes. That said, we are very commited to this thing now, to the point where something like a match not going as expected, will not stop us. It would hurt, but it won't make us quit.

Cool reply JCIN. My hat's off to you guys. You have stepped up and are doing a hugh thing for pool. I'm sure most pool players appreciate your efforts. Thanks and keep up the good work.

1) Earl goes the distance and wins. I wouldn't miss it!
2) Earl goes the distance and loses. I wouldn't miss it!
3) Earl blows up, breaks his cue and walks off. I wouldn't miss it!

Where do I pay?

Ray

ps. The last challenge pay per view on the web was awesome!!! I hooked it up to my plasma and the quality was perfect!!
