buy a j/j for 50 bucks, get it lightened a bit by someone, and then spend the remaining 280 or so on a nice sneaky

thanks for reply... Well honestly I don't need a sneaky as I have great playing cue... So you think that j&j would do the work

I have a fury I picked up on ebay and am happy with it. That being said, I think the J&J break cues are one of the best values on the market.

Keep in mind where you will be using it, Im not up to date with all the info but I believe some of the leagues will be banning phenolic break cues. So that could influence your choice if you play in leagues or tourneys that wouldnt let you use them.

For that Money Contact Rick Howard or Mace Custom Cues, he will build you one of Mace Jump/Break cues. Rick has been building them since the 1980's and they are still some of the best currently being made for any price anywhere. Rick Is a great guy to deal with personally, I have ordered and sold many of these Jump breaks through my business over the last 6 or 7 years.

I second that! I have owned a few over the years and currently have two.

If you want a deal on a nice one with a phenolic tip, PM me and I'll hook you up!

Thanks I will think about Mace break cue... Well that particular cue maker is a snooker cue maker and he is just doing me a big favour by making me a pool cue. What about Lucasi Hybrid LHBB. Is that cue good

yeah man that'll get the job done! i own one and it's an amazing break cue. bamacues has one for sale right now for $50 shipped (i think).

if price isn't an issue i'd go ahead and spring for a mezz pb2 , andy gilbert j/b or an arnot j/b

I have to say go with the Fury. I have had the Predator BK (huge disappointment) and Scott sent me a Fury jump break and I have had people Im playing ask to try it out. One guy actually got annoyed that I was getting such movement

Works well as a jump too I got the JBBS the black with the blue stonework which looks pretty cool too.

I intend to beat all other's pricing on this and all Sledgehammer models. Please contact me with questions regarding the entire Sledgehammer line.

The Sledgehammer is designed for the serious players out there who may play competitively in tournaments or wagering. This cue will improve your break dramatically. The break is the most important shot in 9 ball, 8 ball and so many other billiard games. If you like winning and making $, this is the one for you.

These cues break unbelievably well, outperforming the Predator BK 2 Average breakers routinely make 2-3 balls or more on a 9 ball break, often moving more than half of the balls up table beyond mid-table. As a regular tournament player I can assure you that this cue will dramatically improve your break, it has mine. Jumping with the cue at the shortened jump length or even full cue is much easier than with other jump/break cues. The secret to all of this is in the Sledgehammer design with the one piece phenolic tip and sturdy shaft that clearly delivers more power into the jump or break shot. These are not the garbage jump/break cues available from other sellers.

**Sledgehammer cues will be shipped directly from the McDermott factory within 2 business days at your accepted Best Offer sales price.

**Please specify what weight cue you are requesting from 18-21 ounces in 1/2 ounce increments. Solid phenolic one piece tip/ferrule is 13 mm standard

**Payment to be made with Paypal. With Paypal an invoice is sent to your email, and then you may make a secured payment to me using a bank account or credit card. The buyer pays no fees; I pay the 3% fee. Paypal protects the buyer with a 100% refund if the item is not exactly as described.

As much as I like my Kaiser (J&J) Panther J/B the old saying, you get what you pay for. I like it a lot. Great for a first J/B, priced right and you wont get too pissed if you ding it and etc. To give an honest opinion, after playing for a while, the Panther is just not cutting it for me anymore. I feel like I am going to snap it in half when I break with it. It feels hollow in my hands (I was practicing on my break speed and am in the process of increasing it), but not to knock on it, it does break them up good.

As for jumping wise, I rarely jump and definitely am not a big fan of how it jumps. I'm a firm believer in, kick out of it lol.

The hollow feeling, a fellow member has stated to me, was due to the ferrule combo, which I have yet to change out.

I am investing in a Terbrock or a Bouska soon. Just need to get my money together first, and at this point of economy, if I had $350, I'd just save it for emergency.

for the price, my J&J is the nuts! I put a samsara tip on it and it jumps and breaks great!
