Since there's not allot of ''Pool Rooms'' in the US with big tables, this Matchroom Move is Not what I had expected for the states. How about you?
What move?Since there's not allot of ''Pool Rooms'' in the US with big tables, this Matchroom Move is Not what I had expected for the states. How about you?
What's the entry fee. Sounds like they just threw this out and are going by ear.My understanding it is the first 32 to pay the entry and you are in.
I've traveled across this great country and have never had a problem finding a 9 foot table to play on... In terms of a "move," I'm not sure how anyone can classify an add-on event paired with the U.S. Open, aimed at promoting youth pool, with zero entry fee, as a move...Since there's not allot of ''Pool Rooms'' in the US with big tables, this Matchroom Move is Not what I had expected for the states. Is this what they did with Snooker, have Jr. Events?
It's exactly what I expected. The junior event played at the 2021 International was on the big tables and the juniors did just fine on them.Since there's not allot of ''Pool Rooms'' in the US with big tables, this Matchroom Move is Not what I had expected for the states. How about you?
I do not believe so.I wonder if the event is being run in conjunction with Ra Hanna's junior tour. I must admit I have no idea, but whatever the methodology and entry criteria are, the onset of this event will bring a bright day for junior pool.
How did that work? Did they close at 32?Sold out now. It was free entry to the first 32.
After the first 32 the rest just go on a waiting list. How did that work? Did they close at 32?
Ok. That's about what the announcement implied. The fix was probably advanced "intel". Is there any word on how quickly the field was filled? After the first 32 the rest just go on a waiting list.
