No problem..

I sure hope it shows up.

Pat says he'll build a stick for the person that leads him to an arrest and conviction of the thief.

I would propose we offer a nominal refund for its safe return, the goal of the stick's return being...uhh, the goal.

Swiper, stop swiping:angry:

Sorry to hear it, Pat. It is just wrong.

Casinos have eyes all over in the sky to protect the CASINO. Several years ago at the ______ ______ in Reno, Nevada my other half letf an item on the ground when we were parking in their parking garage.

When we got inside the hotel were realized a "small bag" that should have been with us was missing, realized "she" set it on the ground, and did not pick it up.

We walked back to the car, and in the 12-15 minute, the bag was gone. I talked to Casino Security, and a Supervisor in the Security Department about if they could looking at the "security tapers" to see where the bag went. In so many words I was told my loss was my problem, and the security tapes were for the "casinos use only".

So I say good luck if you talked to security at the Pool Event, maybe there were better to deal with than the people in RENO.

The name of that casino should be made PUBLIC so that everyone knows that their personal safety is not the casinos concern. I don't believe the casino,s want that type of publicity.

I also believe there are standards for the release of proprietary information...

including all printed, photographic or video materials at the Casino's discretion.

But I bet a summons'd get it.

I'll keep my eyes peeled for this beauty. I have to send one of mine off to Pat for a refinish anyway, it would be great to recover his cue and send it along while I'm at it. I met Pat at our state tourney this year and he seemed like a great guy.

The casino was the Riviera, but these casinos are all the same. They don't care about you. All they care about is that they get your money. They won't show you anything. They even screwed us out of some of the days of our rooms. We had to find another hotel for Friday and Saturday or pay 3 to 4 hundred dollars a night. Butterflycues.

That's not correct.

First file a police report, second get the number and name of someone who is not a camera watcher in security at the Rivera. Call back to the Clark Co PD or SD a few days later and get a case number. Call the Rivera and give that case number to the security person and explain the uniqueness of the cue + see when and or if they can get the tapes over to them sooner than later.

Or you can give a local JD a few $$ to get on the case and fire off a letter that you want a copy of the tapes and there is a copying fee involved. There may not be cameras in the exact area you are talking about, but I've worked plenty of cases before and I would want every camera for 10 minutes around that area and then I'd work backwards.

I also know a good PI in Vegas who could help facilitate you getting those tapes, I'm quite a bit away or I'd assist in person.

No Security in this part of the riviera,,,,so they say,,,but even if they did have it they wont show it to you anyway, this scumbag is going to appear with it saying he bought it from someone or a pawnshop, when the pics get on here tomarrow i hope one of his freinds see it and give pat diveney a call and let him know where it is,,, If you know a scumbag that went to vegas last week and he has come home with a capone cue, take a look at it to see if it the cue we are looking for, there is only one so you really cant be wrong if it looks like the pics we put on here....and if you are the one that stole the cue return it to pat, no questions asked!!!

IMHO offering a reward only says to other potential thieves hey look we can get paid doing this and returning it so we aren't liable.

I would propose we offer a nominal refund for its safe return, the goal of the stick's return being...uhh, the goal.
