Wow! That sounds like a great experience. He's a well-known coach and player. I think you're going to gain a lot of knowledge about the game, strategies, and fundamentals. You must take photos!:cool:(y):D

I mean, he is Alex Lely, so I assume he’s already pretty well versed in those regards 😉

Very cool, sir!

Anybody who wants a glimpse into Mr. Lely's style and knowledge can check out KOZOOM tv on YouTube...many of the pool offerings have the plague!

The Man knows his stuff.

Alex is one of the very rare examples who competed on world class level as a player- and in the past decase he also became an absolute world class teacher.

One of these "few" guys i have so much respect- and would take every advice.
And..... hell of a human :-)

have fun with "the Plague" :-p (sry Alex- couldn t resist)

I met him about 20-plus years ago, got to see him on pool's tournament trail, and had a few conversations on the rail. I know a little bit about him. ;)

Alex, whom I'm pleased to call a friend, is one of the greatest living scholars on the game of pool.

In terms of overall knowledge, I might even call him "the Nick Varner of this generation" and his teaching skills are exceptional. Although whether to share their names is his business and not mine, some of the world's most elite players have shared with me the positive way in which he has influenced them.

Don't miss out on this chance to learn from one of the true masters, for such opportunities don't come around very often.

Very well chosen words my Stu!
Furthermore he has something special- Wish i would have just 1-2 skills he owns :-) His ability to communicate is extremely impressive.

Party pooper -- she was probably good for at least one more round of misplaced indignation.

As the years ago by, your antagonistic trolling tactics get worse and worse. It truly is like a nightmare. But, frankly, I don't give a damn anymore. AzBilliards just ain't what it used to be for me, but it's obviously a stage for you and your buddies to showcase your butts.

Sure, but did you know that it was actually him posting in the first post? :)
No, I did not know his handle on AzBilliards. I was only trying to give him a few good words, but that's not possible to do on AzBilliards. I should have known better than to try to say something nice about somebody on AzBilliards.

Don't let him get to you. Just stick him on "ignore" like everyone else. The dude mostly just talks to himself at this point.

It's probably too late but you might try growing a sense of humor and not taking yourself so seriously.

I apologize if my comment came across as mean spirited. It was intended as light-hearted ribbing.

I rarely ever post, and I always try to be respectful and/or helpful. I am sorry you feel differently.

I enjoy all of your posts, I was referring to the other one. Sorry I wasn’t more clear.

i was not thinking of you when i wrote my post about bad apples

Some of you should try talking about what a great chance it is to get lessons from Alex and that anyone that can should avail themselves of this opportunity.
