ALL-Around Action Challenge...Any takers?

You could put me down for a dime. I like Alex's side of it alot, if he can last for the duration.
Me too, iba. I just watched Alex pound SVB in 10-ball a few weeks ago in Chattanooga, and I'd say he's one of the the top 5 1-pocket players in the world. And he's got as much gamble than anyone I know. Betting $10,000 wouldn't phase him.

I agree with Jay. If the challenge stands, Danny will get played at this game.

If this Challenge stays up a while, I suspect Danny will get played.

i agree, and i agree with your other post, Alex would be a great game-i might even bet on him to win.

I'm thinking Freezer, He will take the one pocket and he aint no slouch at 9 or 10 ball and Straiaght pool. What you think?
He doesn't want to play an All-Around. Word is he has something lined up for May - BIG GAME. PM me if you want.

P.S. He was giving a guy at Kolby's last night 10-2 in 1 pocket. he was down 4 at one point and down 1 when I left at 11:00 last night.

I agree that Alex would be the obvious choice to take on Danny in this format. I would be willing to make a wager on the young Lion.

Alex vs Danny

I know Alex is currently playing on the Guiness Tour in Asia but maybe someone should get in touch with him.

I have a feeling he might like the match (he likes any challenge). Like when he lost to Shane at the Derby and people said he couldn't beat Shane he followed him to every event and beat him the next six matches they played.

I don't know how good Harriman plays but I haven't seen anyone jump on this challenge so he definately gets respect.

Maybe I will see if I can get in touch with Alex, unless JCIN can? By the way JCIN what ever happened to the Alex vs. Shane race to 100?

Gabe Owen would be my pick. the guy is nasty at 1 pocket. Cliff would make a good match also.

I agree with the previous posters that said Gabe Owen would be a great match. He might even be the slight favorite IMO even though he is clearly the underdog in the straight pool.

I wonder How Max Eberle would match up?

Max is a friend of mine, and no disrespect but I dont think he has a chance, unless he caught a big gear for 3 days which could happen. But if he dosent he wouldnt get there, I dont think it would be a blowout like SVB vs. Earl or Cory was, he would do alot better than they did but I doubt he could win. I'd like to be wrong as he is a friend and I like to see him win, but I dont see that happening with all due respect.

I think you got that right considering he doesn't play one-pocket so he would have to win both the straight pool and 10 ball and he would be the underdog in the straight pool.

Alex, Efren, Busta, JS and Shannon would all be quality matches for this. Straight pool seems to be the game that's stopping the matches from happening, I just don't think there are enough top players who like the game.

Wouldn't the Mosconi Cup be incredible if there were other disciplines like straight pool, one pocket, banks etc ?

This is getting very interesting!!!!!!! Already we have a good part of Alexs stake commited, unless the people back out, lets make this happen.
