All around best american player??

i think tony cohan might be.

thats a possibility too, if he put the effort into it that shane does, I think he would be.

Shane isnt the most naturally talented gifted player I have seen, he earned how good he plays, he works his ass off to play good.

It's close between him and Shannon, if Shannon is playing. Too bad about Tony, because his game was on the rise.

when tony comes back, I believe he will come back strong with his head right. Thats my perdiction. Tony is a smart guy that got trapped up that lead him into making a bad move. All that will be history, his head will be clear and like Mark Tadd he has so much talent it wont take long before he is in top form. I know Tony pretty good and am very confident this is how it will play out.

I think SVB is foolish to not play one pocket, straight pool, etc. He would easily be the best all around player in the US, with his talent and work ethic, and a favorite to win Master of the Table at DCC every year, just like Efren was and is.

Regarding Harold Worst, there is about a half hour of an audio recording floating around the net somewhere of Ronnie Allen's opinion of who was the best ever. Its a great recording to listen to. I don't know the link, but maybe someone does.

ill tellem like now evryone plays 14.1.
hahaahahahah

Is 14.1 really a game?

I think you're right though, disco. If you include 14.1 Danny is super tough to beat. He's a little bit of a weirdo, but whatever.

Now what if we throw bar table 10-ball, 9-ball and 8-ball into the mix? 10-ball and 9-ball don't change too much when changing tables, but they are different. 8-ball on a bar table compared to a big table is a totally different game though. Now who's the best?

how about 14.1 on the bar table?
is that a game?

I was being universal with the big table, and 5 standard games. we can both tweak games and make our horses the favorite.

My asking about bar tables being added had nothing to do with tweaking to make anyone a favorite. I just figured if we're going to include 14.1 then we should add some actual games too. lol.

Ill bet that there are more 14.1 tournys than bank tournys, ok you got me son, how much,.

in case you cant read i dont care about tourneys.
but ill bet what i said more people gamble at banks then 14.1.
son i been all around the country i know.
how much you want to bet fool?

In an all around format consisting of Banks, 1 pocket, 14.1, 8 ball, and 9 ball, Danny is best american. Next thread!

In this all-around, I'd take John Schmidt over Harriman. Schmidt has a big edge in 9 ball, and the edge in 14.1 & 1P. Harriman is a big favorite in banks. I saw Schmidt play 8 ball but I never saw Danny play 8 ball.

This would be a tight match though. They're like Ali-Frazier, it won't be boring.

How come nobody mentions bonus ball when we're talking about all-around games? It's more of a game than 14.1 so it should be included for sure!

I can read better than you can. This thread isnt about what games are the most popular amongst gamblers. Its best all around american player. Not best gambler in the opinion of Chris Bartram. 2 big all around challenge matches have been played for money, both had 14.1 in them, not banks. Son go to bed.

I think big table with the games I listed is pretty neutral. Your guy would be in the top 3 in this discussion, I know how much you want him to be #1. And sure we can toss in a bunch of bartable games, then ill come back with lets throw in 3 cushion billiards and snooker, then youll come back with Danny needs to work 60 hours a week, but im trying to not go down that path!
