bought this last year at end of DCC. sent to Barry for authentication, only had 1 original shaft. a friend sent Barry a 13mm Gus shaft. Barry changed joint ring to match. he says in letter that its only the 2nd he's seen in 25 years w/ this style butt end w/ ebony T's & ebony framed ivory windows. its all original, finish worn through in spots, some dents. wrap is worn, but in excellent condition. what do you think? don aka Sure Man Cues

Awesome unique Gus!
 
Very interesting cue. My guess is this is one of Gus' earlier cues, before he got into more intracate detail. Very nice cue, and a historical one at that.

Don that is really something very collectible and a smart looking cue also. Sometimes you don't get both qualities in one cue.
 
just to keep this ongoing for those that haven't seen it as yet. thanks for all the nice comments. this cue can be seen at DCC coming soon. but Nick might say its bogus. I'm beginning to tremble.
