I'm not sure what species of rosewood, but Kent is accurately known as the "duke of burl" if you want it, chances are he has it. This cue started off as a huge chunk of this stuff, so I know he has more

Pretty sure it's Honduran Rosewood burl and a highly figured piece at that. The leather wrap going on the cue is a total home run as far as color match, texture and of course, feel. I like that design a lot and I'd expect the cue to be a "live" strong player.
