We have severe weather warning out for our part of the flat lands in Saskatchewan Canada. Tornado warning in effect.
We have a local Storm Chaser and many of the Storm Chasers from the US have taken up residency. They wouldn't be here if they thought it wasn't worth their time and money.
So, am I being selfish to go out and shoot a few. Its not like my wife doesn't know where the basement is, right.
I'm the one taking a huge risk here. I mean, what kind of protection can a pool table provide?
I have my cue cases lashed to a tele post in the basement. They're not going anywhere, I hope.
I left a little extra line in case my wife wants to tie herself to the other tele post. I left her one.
Geez, its not like its Dec 21st or anything. I would probably stay home for that.
I got caught right in the middle of a flat land tornado once. I pulled over to the shoulder of the road and backed up onto a grid.
All of a sudden, I noticed I was soaking wet. I looked at the passenger side of the truck and the door was twisting away from the roof line to give the rain approx 2 inches to get in. I backed up until I found a culvert and dove in.
Man, women just don't understand what a pool Jones is.
PS - This weeks notes the 100th anniversary of the Regina Cyclone. Worst cyclone in Canada's history. It does make it kind of coincidental and exciting at the same time.
