Amazing: 6 balls on the break by SVB!

First off, I'm glad to finally be a 'Gold' member. It's nice to be able to support AZ Billiards!

I love this clip and may do some analysis down the road. I love how pure Shane hits this rack and how each ball travels in a path toward or into its intended pocket. The way he broke, you might expect to see more 5 and 6 ball breaks like this in the future.

Daniel.....

You ARE ‘the man’!!

Thx for the great viewing! Good commentary with you and Jay on this one too!

Nice job at Freezer’s too.

Love your POVPOOL team. Y'all are a top-notch streaming crew.

That said, I am not impressed about SVB making six balls on the break. Anyone who has played pool for any length of time has accomplished the feat, maybe numerous times and possibly with more balls made. My personal record is seven balls on the break so surely there must be even more amazing breaks than Shane's six balls :D).

Nothing to see here people...just keep moving along. :groucho:

It actually was quite a feat the way he was breaking. That six, then a couple of 4’s,
And squatting CB consistently. Most of us won’t ever break 6 in 10 ball in our lives.
It is rare, esp. in competition.

If the 3 ball would not have contacted the cue ball, I’m pretty it would have went too. I do believe I said at one point making 7 balls without one being slopped in isn’t that insane of an idea. A perfect break with one inconvenient kiss.

My bad...and edited.

Still...six balls has been done numerous times by many players.

Yup Texas .... wish u could make six balls inn a row ... If u can then what City in Texas , pool room and night ? Just answer and I'll be there soon thanks

Damn, Dennis is white girl wasted.

LMAO! I would assume he doesn't drink like this much. He was really happy to have done well in this year's West Coast Swing. Dennis has consistently attended and won the majority of the 'WCS" cash for 3 years running with the exception of losing to Chohan in "The BIG One!" 100k match last year.

Cool video. I once made 5 on the break. It would have been great but I has hooked and the cue ball was frozen to a rail:eek:

Impressive, but he looks a little frustrated that he's left himself a tough shot on the 3-ball. I wonder if he attempted to make it or play safe?

Whoa....wait just a minute here fella. You've never had a six-ball break??? I bet if I started a poll about what's the most balls a member has ever made on a break, we might all be a little surprised.

My point in my first post was that I am not impressed by a six ball break. Done it myself a time or two (my highest being seven balls from a full rack).
Not taking anything away from your apparent hero SVB as he is definitely the best 10-ball breaker (and player) in the game, just nothing to be impressed about, IMHO.

Sorry my comments got your panties all in a wad to the point you had to start woofing at me like a pissed-off junior-high school kid.

Hell yes! POV is the nutz. Glad you're here.
Didn't alex make 6 in 9 ball, and left himself dead hooked?
I have seen 9 balls made in 8 ball, on a oversized 8. Seemed like balls dropped for 10 minutes.

Gypsy, calm down, and leave these good folks alone

What's amazing is that were absolutely zero kicks. That by itself is tough to do with a 10 ball break.

The sad thing about this break is that if he were able to recreate it, then he most likely will still have no shot on the 3 (or 2) yet again. If the break was hit any harder or softer to get the 3 off the rail, then the results would be very different, which could be a good thing.

He was unlucky the 1 went in the back corner. How often does that happen on a 10 ball break?

Dont flatter yourself. Gypsy woofs at everybody:p

Many thanks for the link. Watched some youtube matches last night...will NOT sign up to facebook to watch Turning stone. Wonder when Cuetec is going to be cranking out replicas of Shane's "prototype" cue?
