Amazing Veneers

Here's a Jeff Olney cue I've had for a while and never posted any pictures. The veneer work on this cue is sick. The whole cue and all the work is outstanding. What a player.
Thanks for looking.

Bob......while the veneers are admittedly handsome.....really subtle colors that become more apparent as you study the look......I think the thing that frames this cue's look is the wood stain......."Perfect".......just dark enough to make the design all the more stylish and it really renders the veneers an old school look........I like this cue a lot.

Really nice veneered points and good classic design. Jeff was actually quite a good player in the early 80's. You'd think he'd know what a good cue should play like!

Agreed.

And he had enough sense to not "over" inlay the cue. The inlays are an asset verses taking away from the cue.

Well done indeed.

Nice to see an Olney around here

Wish he made more cues. They sure do play nice,
and they look nice too. Keep it up Jeff! Not sure if
he still frequents these forums or not after the last
fiasco

I have own several olneys, his work is top notch in my eye, best cue for the money. People charge twice what he does and don't do as nice work.
