I was in the poolroom this evening playing in a tournament and an interesting question was raised.
If you had the choice between and early 4 point Black Boar that was used with 1 shaft at a good price and a new, unplayed Tim Scruggs with 2 shafts; which would you choose?
This was a tough question for me to answer. I have a Scruggs but have always wanted a Black Boar. Each way you look at it has it's pro's and con's.
For me:
The Boar:
Pro - You have a Boar
Con - Pay $$$ for refurbish and new shafts
Scruggs:
Pro - Unplayed with shafts for value later
Con - You don't have a Boar
Solution: ????????
What do you think folks?
I appreciate all the feedback ahead of time.
