An offer

Why would he waste his time ,now that he knows who he is dealing with?He might end up winning a pile of IOU .

so who didnt get paid ? what are you reading ? Never was any mentions of an air barrel. where did you see that? Not in the 14+ pages i seen !

JIMMY didnt excoriate you, your actions did !!!!

two words "reading comprehendtion".
Grady spoke of Roy and you seem to think it was Jimmy. man o man !

You should read it all again and go a little slower.

Since this Jimmy is reputed to be such a nice, classy man, I hereby make him an offer, just like I did John Henderson. Fly to my place, be up 20 hours, hit no practice balls play on my pet table and I'll play you 6 ahead for $5,000.
By the way this topic has done one good thing. I just feel more alive when Roy slithers out from whatever rock he's hiding under and excoriates me.Thanks, Roy
I await Jimmy's answer.

you welcome sir

Damn!!!! I really don't want to know this current Grady.......Since he was a road warrior before my time...up until he started posting on this board, I only knew of him through many many Accustats videos......I used to think of Grady as Pool's version of Vin Scully.

He and Earl are doing the same exact thing......Not only have they thrown thier image to the ground and shattered it......They keep stomping on the damn broken pieces....

It has really made me want to have NO pool heros at all.

What the hell has Earl done lately that he hasn't done for the past 20 years?
MULLY
at least with Earl you know what you're getting:thumbup:

You know, Grady, now that I've had time to sit and think about this situation I've come to a conclusion, you should just let it go. The only thing you're doing by offering up challenges to this man is making yourself look like a petty little man that doesn't have the manners to take a loss on the chin and accept it for what it was. You seem to be the only person that thinks you were hustled. Every other person that was witness to this has a different story than yours. Also, what are you going to do if he accepts this challenge and whoops up on you again? The only real way you could walk away with any dignity would be to win after giving him the same spot he had before. Anything less would be you hustling him. And what if you do win? Would you be willing to play him again if he challenges you back? I suspect you wouldn't. I think you'd get your money back plus some and then sneak away into the night. Nope, challenging this man is wrong on so many levels. There is no way you can win in the public eye. The only person you would satisfy is yourself. Everyone around you would not be thinking so highly of you. It's strange that in just this one instance you have removed a lot of the positive image people had of you. I don't think you'll get it back either.

One other thing. You have let me down, personally. You probably don't care what I think but that's OK, I'm going to tell you anyway. So many times on Accu-Stats tapes I've listened to your commentary and have always enjoyed it. One thing you seem to do quite often is give accolades to up and coming players. On more than one occasion I've heard you say "He's such a nice young man. He bets with his own money and isn't afraid to pay up when he loses" I think you said something very similar to that about a young Johnny Archer.

I never imagined you to be like you are in these threads. It's just sad.

Why not just play again, this time with 30 minutes to warm up and a good nights sleep?

No need for exotic stipulations, that's for Floyd Mayweather.

Grady why do you insist on letting your mouth overload your a$$?

you accepted the bet and lost, accept the fact that you had a bad day.

let it rest!!!:banghead:

Professor, listen to this man.

I never said anybody got stiffed after their first match.I was alluding to the possibility of GRADY pulling a con on their second match. I know GRADY blames ROY for his problems,I was making a broader statement that GRADY brought on rath because of his attempted RUSE !!!

So you are saying a one liner is a broader statement. Hardly !

I think you would have to say alot more than you did for anyone to even remotely think that you meant something as deep as you may have !

Peace.

Oldzilla

I really didnt think it was that deep or difficult to comprehend but i guess i was wrong, sorry. The size of the sentence does not fence in the breath of the idea.

You guys should run it again for sure... maybe play even and have lenny stream it:thumbup:

I'm sorry, maybe because I'm not a gambler, but I don't think a match like that could go down playing even. The only way for Grady to really win anything is to play with the same spots that were given and win the games that way. If the spots were taken away or if a spot were given to Grady then it's a whole different game and proves nothing. In my opinion Grady would have to offer up the same spot.

Then again, in a gamblers mind the only thing that matters is who has the cash at the end of the game. Who the better player is doesn't really matter.

You know, if Efren Reyes gave me the break, the 4 out, and a 10-5 handicap I'd rob him day and night. Surely doesn't make me the better player. Just makes him an idiot for giving up that much weight.

And I smelled that breath(sic). It could use a mint.
