Revisiting this great, readable thread. It pretty much made us understand for the first time the aggravation Mike had as a moderator on the subject of members who personally attacked each other instead of talking pool. There were some prize exchanges here.

Interesting that RKC is now banned. Does anybody know when/if his ban will end?

I haven't been doing much in the pool world lately, smitten by golf at the moment. Just played in Hawaii and was lucky to be teamed with Dustin Johnson in the Kapalua Sentry TOC pro -am, great event.

All RKC does is bait people into getting flame wars.
He then pulls the victim card.
And he sure never misses an opportunity to badmouth Ernesto's work.

I looked up and said I'll be damned Joey got banned.
Nobody I know that knows you could figure out what happened.

I posted a youtube video in that clusterfudge thread by RKC where he just kept arguing over and over again . I get banned.
Then RKC starts another thread where he went into flame wars with others before and got banned for it a few months ago.
Then he gets into flame wars over tables over and over again. Not missing a chance to bad mouth Brunswick and other mechs over and over again.
Then he gets suspended again.
Figures.

He has a lot of interesting contributions to make but he obviously can't help himself when it comes to trolling and attacking.

Yep, he knew more than anybody about pool tables, but maybe not enough about people and relationships.

I understand many people talk diamond tables all the time, it is what it i s
Diamond does a nice job on the visual part, the cool racks & lighting, however I get a little bored practicing by myself on Diamond tables.
I don't think about the table when I'm in a match, and I don't care for the old shimmed Gold Crown pockets, but overall I prefer Gold Crown & Valley. tables.
The pool hall & retirement center I play at has Gold Crown tables and I hope it stays that way.

Lucky you teamed with Dustin Johnson. I was a single digit golfer before I gave it up to play pool in 1995. Had to make a choice because they were like night and day. Pool (play all night) Golf (play all day). I miss golf once in awhile but I never had as much talent as I do in pool.

Yeah I think they let you swear a little more or "get sworn at" if you're paying for the privilege! I just hope everyone wears the big boy pants and can take it when they dish it out.
