Guys first let me say thank you to those of you who have contributed your support to the fundraising efforts for the valley forge Fury 14.1 Challenge whether monetarily or through donation of time at the booth etc.

Secondly what has been going on in this forum is ridiculous. We are all fighting each other and going off on personal vendettas over the stupidest of reasons and that reason in my opinion is pride. Now I fully admit I have been on the giving and receiving end of this spectrum and I am done with the games the drama and the fighting on this forum. It is my goal as well as my partner in the challenge Steve's goal to move forward from all of the drama in a positive way and get back to what this forum is all about 14.1 the game we all love and the game that has brought all of us here countless hours of enjoyment.

After a lengthy conversation between Steve and myself we have decided to not only allow but invite Sean Leinen to come and play in this years event and we hope that he will accept our invitation. This weekend at cue nine during the predator tour event I had the chance to hang out with Sean a little and we got the chance to put aside our differences and just enjoy a great tournament.

Please understand this decision has nothing to do with any outside factors other than what was presented to steve and myself by all and I do mean all parties involved from forum members to Sean himself as well as many others. Steve and I both feel it is in the events best interest to not let forum drama over take an otherwise phenomenal event.

Lou Figueroa as for bringing up the Charlie Williams thing our wait list this year will be maintained in a first come first serve basis. Our event is awesome and if you want to play get on line like eveypryone else and if you have a match upstairs or down budget your time better.

Guys I hope that from this point on we can all enjoy a great event and an even better forum experience. We shouldn't be fighting each other we should be helping each other with end patterns or analyzing situations mid game etc.

I truly hope that this years 14.1 challenge is a success and with all of the support we have received I believe in my heart that it will be.

Thank you all so much for everything that you do to further our incredible discipline.

Sincerely
Charlie

Kudos to you, Charlie for moving this in a positive direction again.

I am just going to keep my mouth shut as much as I can and just try to concentrate on pool stuff.

Good Luck for a great event!

Great news!

nice

Thanks for a pleasant post and what I consider a sensible decision. Straight pool, after all, has always been considered the gentleman's sport.

Great, classy post, Charles. See you at Valley Forge!

Tap tap tap! Making a truce and putting all the debate and hard feelings aside makes us all winners. When arguing and fighting, no one wins.

-Mikko, not a pacifist though :p
