Hi Guys;

Recently acquired this TS cue that is not your usual Timmy. It was made for one of Tim's nephews.

Being perfectly honest, it's not really my cup of tea but it def appealed to me on its 'unusual' factor.

It does hit brilliantly and in the short time I've had it, it has gotten favorable comments from friends who've seen it.

Ebony and the red wood is thought to be padauk. Ivory joint w/radial pin.

Am interested in what you guys think.

Honesty encouraged. :grin-square:

best,
brian kc

Saw that one and was thinking of picking it up myself. I think you did well with it. For me personally, the aesthetics are not exactly my cup of tea but I was interested due to it being a longer Scruggs, which in my experience have been pretty rare. 61" right? I bet it plays great. Nice pick up.

Definitely not my style, but a unique Scruggs for sure I think.

Very cool.

And I am favoring a longer cue these days (60 inches) so I am liking that.

Thanks for showing off! :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

Like most, this cue isnt my cup of tea either....

Hopefully the price was good, and it plays like the typical Scruggs.

When I said the design wasn't my cup of tea, specifically, I was referring to the flashiness of it which, imo, causes it to cheap.

Sorta like a heavily made up hooker as compared to the much more lovely girl next door type. :thumbup:

But there's no denying that this big pinned ivory jointed Timmy hits the balls superb.

And with the guys at the pool hall all really liking her, I guess the old saying is true: "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder". ;)

Really nice cue
its uniqueness makes it so desireable

I like to get cues that are usually standard and classics for the most part,
but sometimes I like to change up and get something that is not so common

this cue is really nice,lets hope you remember Tim and Mike when you enjoy this
beauty

nice cue,it should make you happy for a long time

Sorry I threw out the red herring there, for whatever reason I thought I saw it advertised as being like 60.5" or 61" or so. My bad, KC.
