Andy Gilbert Player Special
Here is a great 2002 Andy Gilbert players cue:
6 Ebony points into some nicely figured BEM (all points are razor sharp)
Black leather, lizard texture wrap
NICE looking old dark brown phenolic joint collars and butt cap
2 Very well Seasoned shafts that have longer tapers, about 13 inches and both shafts are around 12.7
Balance point is between 18.5 and 19 inches from butt.
This cue HAS a weight bolt which weighs 2.20 oz, so this cue could pretty much be adjusted to whatever weight you want.
Butt weight is 15.83oz with weight bolt.
19.46 oz w/ weight bolt and shaft 1 (looks like a triangle tip)
19.61 oz w/ weight bolt and shaft 2 (Dudley Tip)
3/8-10
Only marks on cue are 3 small finish bubbles on joint collars (see photo), 1 small dent on butt (barely noticeable, not through finish) and finish wear at very bottom of butt cap around the bumper (also not visable by photographs)
Even though the taper on this cue is longer, the hit is firm and far from what I would consider whippy. Its got a really nice hit, I've just decided to sell it because its heavier than what I like to play with and also I need to pay off some bills.
